Could Wild acquire Panarin?

 Panarin to Minnesota?

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog, in today’s v blog post we are looking at something Elliotte Friedman  said as he speculated that the Wild could target a guy like Artemi Panarin this year perhaps at the trade deadline.

Now in a recent radio hit Elliotte Friedman was talking about Kirill Kaprizov getting his new deal (a 8x$17 Million deal that was record setting) and other things involving Kaprizov and he says that the Minnesota Wild could try and trade at some point for a forward upgrade now that they have a bit more cap space and maybe it doesn't happen, but Friedman says that they could try and pry Artemi Panarin out of the New York Rangers organization.

Friedman says that Panarin has the same agent as Kirill Kaprizov, they are both Russians, they are both superstar NHL players and if the Rangers don't get out to an overly good start and they're not doing too well heading into the trade deadline this year and I've already mentioned this possibility on my YouTube channel then I think there's a very likely chance Panarin could get dealt and Minnesota may very well make some sense. Now I know they probably have to move off someone with a rather big AAV to make room for Panarin cap wise, but I mean Panarin’s a really solid guy, if you add Panarin to a top six that's already going to have Boldy, Kaprizov, Eriksson Ek, Zuccarello and a couple of other younger guys the that would be a scary top six for the Minnesota Wild if they were able to pull it off. Now like I said, no guarantees that the Rangers even move Panarin as a extension is still very likely for him and if they are in a playoff spot then there is a very likely chance they keep him beyond the deadline, but if they were to move him, and they would want probably a couple of first round picks, a really solid prospect and probably a roster player as well would the Wild want to move that, because I'm not sure if the Minnesota Wild even have the pieces to sort of get this type of a deal done.

However according to Elliotte Friedman and he was just speculating that, but with the Minnesota Wild signing Kaprizov, Friedman thinks the Wild organization probably promised Kaprizov that they wouldn't just sign him and they'll probably go for it this upcoming season and try and add some more pieces and Friedman wonders if maybe adding Artemi Panarin is a possible player that the Minnesota Wild could go after at the deadline, but we'll have to wait and see what happens there between the Wild and Panarin, but that is all I am going to discuss today, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments and if you think Panarin could end up in Minnesota and stay tune for more blog posts in the upcoming days and don’t forget to stay up to date with my YouTube channel and check it out if you can.
