Kadri to the Stars?

Hey everyone, I’m today’s blog post we take a look at the Stars and Flames as according to recent radio hit by Nick Kyperos the Stars could be the front runner for a star Flames player. 

Now according to a recent report from Nick Kyperos, he says that if/when Nazim Kadri is open to being dealt and is all right waving his no movement clause and the Flames want to deal him to try and get the best assets they can, he says that the Dallas Stars currently seem to be a frontr runner for Nazam Kadri. Now the Flames have been winning as of late and there has been no indication that Kadri has requested a trade, so with all those things in mind, it doesn't seem like a Kadri trade is imminent. I'm not even sure at this point in time if it's going to happen before the trade deadline.

However if there was a Kadri trade to happen before the trade deadline, Dallas seems to be the front runner, they just lost Seguin and there’s a very lucky chance it's going to be season ending. So that gives them $9.5 million in cap space and allows them to add a little bit more pieces onto their team and on top of that, Seguin was a pretty solid second line center. So they could use someone to sort of fill that role because I think while Duchene can play second line center, he's more useful on the wing. 

So I could definitely see that, I think whether it's Kadri, whether it's Brayden Schenn or whether it's Ryan O'Reilly, like any of those big second line center pieces that some teams might be shopping, Philipp Danault is another one, the Dallas Stars are going to have some major interest in bringing in because of the loss of Tyler Seguin and I could see Dallas be the front runner for Kadri as it seems they really do like him and I could see them put together a really big package to get Kadri from Calgary. 

I'm just not sure at this point in time if Kadri really wants to be moved or if the Flames really want to move him. So we'll have to keep our eye on that situation, but if/when Kadri is ready to get dealt, it seems like Dallas will be the front runner.
