Rossi drawing interest from 6 teams?

Rossi contract a problem, 6 teams have interest?

In today’s blog post we are looking at the Minnesota Wild as when it comes to the Wild there have been a lot of recent reports coming out about Marco Rossi and his situation entering the offseason.

Now the first thing I want to mention is from Marco Di’Amico as he was talking about this recently and said that the contract for Marco Rossi is probably the biggest sticking point right now in trade talks as he says that the Philadelphia Flyers has some major interest in Marco Rossi, but after talking negotiations with the Minnesota Wild and what Rossi might try and look for in a new contract, it sort of seems like the Flyers shut down those sorts of talks as according to Di’Amico he says that Rossi at this point is sort of looking for a 7 by 7 deal (which personally I think is a little bit high), Di’Amico says that he thinks that the Wild have offered Rossi a 5x5 deal, so a little bit less term and $2 million less on the AAV and I think that's a little bit more reasonable for Rossi after the year he had as he had a good year putting up 60 points.

So I'm not sure if he's a $7 million player, maybe somewhere between the $5-5.5 million range, but not 7. So we'll have to wait and see what happens there, but Di’Amico says that the contract of Rossi wanting around 7x7 is a big sticking point in the trade rumor mill, while Chris Johnson recently said that if he was to be moved that Calgary, Vancouver, NYR, Boston, Buffalo and Montreal are a few of the landing spots potentially for Rossi should he wind up getting dealt.

So there's still a very likely possibility that he gets dealt even at 5x5 is a little bit pricey in the Minnesota Wild organization, so we know Calgary could use a second line center, Vancouver could use a second line center, NYR’s a little bit more confusing but they could definitely use a younger type player, we know Boston could use a center, we know Buffalo's just trying to change up the mix and I could see them have some interest in a younger guy like Rossi and we know that Montreal could be in the market for a second line center.

So most of those guys in my opinion make sense, Montreal, Boston, Vancouver and Calgary more than the Rangers and the Sabres, but those could be some very interesting landing spots for Marco Rossi if the contract situation can work out, so we're going to have to wait and see on that but According to Di’Amico the contract's a big problem for Rossi being traded or signing with the Minnesota Wild and according to Chris Johnson those are six teams that could be potential landing spots for Marco Rossi, so we're definitely going to have to wait and see on that but watch Rossi on the trade market as he could very well be moved this offseason.
