Kings moving Spence?
In today’s blog post we are looking at the Los Angeles Kings as according to Elliotte Friedman, he said I think it was on his recent 32 thoughts podcast is that the LA Kings could look to move Jordan Spence this offseason.

Now Spence actually had a really good season this year as he played almost the entire season and he really blossomed as a third pair right shot defensive guy in the LA Kings organization, now according to Elliotte Friedman the Kings don't feel like they can keep both Clark and Spence on the right side, which which I find a little bit weird given the fact that both these guys are younger players and they don't really have a whole bunch of really solid level defensive players on the team.
So according to Friedman he says that they don't feel like they can keep Spence and Clark which I think would be a very major mistake as I think Spence in time could be a very solid second pair right shot defenseman for any team that has him, so if they were to trade him it would have to be in a package for some sort of a big addition, now we've been hearing LA as a landing spot for Marner or Ehlers and it sounds like they're going to be going big game hunting this off-season to try and improve and maybe make it past round one next year and maybe they can finally make it past the Edmonton Oilers.
So maybe moving Spence as part of a package would make some sense as I think he's either a RFA this year or he's going to be a RFA next year and he's going to need a new deal, so maybe that's why the Kings are moving him, buti'm not exactly sure. So if it was me personally I think they should try and keep Spence, but if it was in a big package to get something that could really improve this team and make them lethal for this upcoming season I could see the Kings potentially move him in the offseason so we're going to have to wait and see on that but keep an eye on Spence has apparently he could be had for the right price this offseason.
