Vancouver wants Rossi?
In today’s blog post we are looking at the Vancouver Canucks and Minnesota Wild as according to Michael Russo, he says that Marco Rossi who we've talked about as one of the names out there that very likely will get dealt at some point is drawing interest from the Canucks.

Now Rossi is a solid second line center and he's a RFA and the Wild may not want to pay what he's asking right now so there's a very likely chance he gets moved and Russo does say that the Vancouver Canucks are one of the teams who have some major interest in marco Rossi and it makes sense as the Canucks are a team who's in desperate need of a second line center and we know they moved J.T Miller in season and never really replaced him as they got Filip Chytil back in that deal, but he's more of a third line center than a second line center so especially if they want to try and make it work with Elias Pettersson they need a true second line center and I think rossi could be that guy.
Now we've heard about Rossi probably wanting 7x7 deal and i'm not sure if the Canucks will be open to doing that, we know that it sounds like they don't want to give an extra year or two or more money to Boeser to keep him, so i'm not sure if the contract would really fit what the Vancouver Canucks are looking for, but I think it would be a smart move there for the Canucks and like I said I think Rossi would fit in quite well as a second line center ahead of Chytil and behind Pettersson and I think that would be a really solid second line center add there for the Canucks and I do think they have the pieces to sort of make that deal worthwhile for the Wild.
They have their own first round pick for this year, I think they still have a first round pick for next year, they have a couple of other decent draft picks that they have for over the next couple of seasons, they have some really good prospects and they also have a couple of really good NHL level players especially an abundance of blueliners, so I definitely think that the Canucks could make a very enticing package for the Minnesota Wild and I think so long as the Canucks can make something work with Rossi extension-wise, I think that would be a very smart move there for the Vancouver Canucks and I can see why they would have some major interest, so we will have to keep tabs on that, but keep your eye on Marco Rossi going to Vancouver in a potential trade this offseason between the Wild and Canucks.
