Penguins want a Young Duck?

Ducks and Penguins talking trade of young player?

Now in this blog post we are looking at the Anaheim Ducks and the Pittsburgh Penguins as according to a couple recent reports the Anaheim Ducks scouts have recently been scouting the AHL Affiliates for the Pittsburgh Penguins during the 4 naations break and that has led a lot of people to think that maybe the Ducks and Penguins could hook up on a deal.

Now some people said maybe guys like Trevor Zegras, Pavel Mintyukov and Mason McTavish could be potential guys that the Penguins are trying to target as we know that Kyle Dubas wants to try and get this team to be younger and the Ducks have a whole bunch of younger pieces, now I could definitely see Zegras be a potential option there for Pittsburgh given the fact that Zegras is a really young and skilled forward and I think the Penguins could use something like that, but I'm not sure if the Ducks would really want to part with either Mintyukov or McTavish given how good they've been this year for the Ducks, but I definitely think there's a possibility these two teams could hook up on a deal.

As we know the Ducks are trying to get a little bit more improved to finally make a push for the playoffs and I know that the Penguins are not in a overly great position and want to try and get some younger pieces for now and in the future, so it's a possibility we could see a trade like that as even though I don't think they'll move McTavish or Mintyukov, Zegras to Pittsburgh could be an interesting concept so we will have to wait and see but watch these two teams as there is a possibility Pittsburgh and Anaheim hook up on a deal prior to the deadline.
