Utah wants Stephenson or Lindholm.

Stephenson and Lindholm to be free agent targets of Utah.

Here we have another blog post and in this one according to a couple of recent reports the Utah franchise could try and look to target a couple of really good Centers, now they have a few Future good centers such as Logan Cooley and Barrett Hayton, but they could definitely use some more veteran type centers or at least veteran top six forwards who could really work well in that team’s top six and they have cap space to make these sort of moves this off-season, so according to a couple of reports they could try and target guys like Chandler Stephenson and Elias Lindholm.

Chandler Stephenson
Now first up is Stephenson who is most likely not going to be back with Vegas next year, he's a really good Speedy top six winger or forward as he can work at both the wing and Center position and he's really good, he fit in extremely well with Mark Stone after arriving in Vegas and has produced at a unreal level, but it doesn't seem like Vegas has the cap space right now to bring him back and it seemed like Hertl was sort of the Stephenson replacement,so Stephenson’s probably going to go to the market and is probably looking for a major raise on his $2.75 million dollar cap hit and my guess is he will get somewhere between 5 and $6 million on the open market and I think there's very likely chance that Stephenson does hit the market and gets a really good raise and Utah could be a really good fit for him as they have a really good young team and they could use another fast forward like him and if they could sign him to like a two to four year deal with AV of between $5.5 and $6.5 million I think they would be willing to do that, so we'll have to wait and see on that but the Utah team could have some interest in bringing in Stephenson in free agency.

Elias Lindholm
And another guy who was reportedly drawing interest from Utah is Elias Lindholm, now we know he's looking for a massive upgrade on his pay and maybe looking for like $8, $8.5 maybe even $9 million dollar AAV on a new deal and I am not sure if Utah would do that, but they could definitely use a solid two-way shutdown Center like a Lindholm who could really mentor some of their younger guys and he could work really well as like a 1C or 2C in Utah and I think that could be a really good pickup there for the Utah franchise at the right price because I am still not sure they would want to go above $8 Million for him but with how good of a player he is, he could be a huge addition for the team down the middle and maybe be that big splash the team is looking for.

So we'll have to wait and see exactly who they try and target in free agency and I'm sure they'll target a couple of guys but it does sound like according to a couple reports I've seen Utah may have some interest in trying to bring in a couple of top end centers in free agency like Stephenson and Lindholm and we will have to see if they wound up with one of them in the not too distant future.
