Florida 7 Dallas 1 Final

The Panthers came out firing as they were up 6 goals after the second with a four goal second period that lead them to a win over Dallas. Sam Bennett has a hat trick (12, 13 and 14) and also had a assist, Jonathan Huberdeau had a goal (14) and 3 assists, Anthony Duclair had a goal (15) and 2 assists, Brandon Montour had 2 assists, while Gustav Forsling (1) and Carter Verhaeghe (11) both also scored for the Panthers. Sergei Bobrovsky made 29 saves on 30 shots in the win and has won six of his last seven games as starter. Jonathan Huberdeau (4G-14A-18P) extends his point streak to seven games, while Alex Barkov (3G-4A-7P) now has a four game point streak. Florida was 1/2 on the power play, and also had 26 hits and 39 shots and are on a three game winning streak and eight game point streak. Mats Zuccarello scored twice (10 and 11) and added a assist, Ryan Hartman (16) and Matthew Boldy (2) both had a goal and assists, Kirill Kaprzov had 2 assists, while Kevin Fiala (8), Victor Rask (5) and Matt Dumba (4) all also scored for the Wild. Kaapo Kahkonen made 39 saves on 42 shots in the win and has won three consecutive games as starter. Kirill Kaprizov (4G-6A-10P), Mats Zuccarello (3G-5A-8P) and Kevin Fiala (4G-2A-6P) all extended their point streaks to five games. Minnesota didn’t have a power play in this game, and also had 17 hits and 42 shots and are on a three game winning streak. Both teams had lineup changes for Minnesota Jordan Greenway, Brendan Duhaime and Kirill Kaprizov replaced Kyle Rau, Marco Rossi and Rem Pitlick who was lost VIA waivers, while for Anaheim Sam Carrick and Jacob Larsson replaced Troy Terry and Simon Benoit. Colorado gave up three unanswered goals to go from 2-0 up to 3-2 down but recovered tying the game in regulation and winning in the shootout. Andre Burakovsky had a goal (14) and a assist, Devon Toews had 2 assists, Mikko Rantanen (17) and Tyson Jost (5) both also scored in regulation, while Nazem Kadri was the lone goal scorer in the shootout for the Avalanche. Pavel Francouz made 23 saves on 26 shots in the win and has won three of his four starts this season. Nazem Kadri had his thirteen game point streak ended, but Cale Makar (2G-5A-7P) now has a four game point streak. Colorado was 0/5 on the power play, and also had 19 hits and 47 shots and now have a seven game point streak. Arizona had the only lineup change as Liam O’Brien replaced Alex Galchenyuk. Phil Kessel had 2 assists, while Clayton Keller (13), Johan Larsson (4) and Shayne Gostisbehere (7) were the three goal scorers in regulation for the Coyotes. Ivan Prosvetov made 44 saves on 47 shots in the SO loss and has lost both games he’s started this year. Arizona was 0/4 on the power play, and also had 12 hits and 26 shots and have a point in five of their last seven games.
