Sam Steel: was activated off of the COVID list and returned to game on Friday.

Cam Fowler: missed Friday’s game due to a UBI and is day to day.

COVID: all 20 players who were placed in COVID protocol before the holiday break have been activated and are all now healthy and most are playing in Thursday’s game, while Brett Ritchie who was placed in COVID protocol on DEC 30th missed Thursday’s game.

Tyler Pitlick: was back in game action on Thursday after missing 4 games due to a undisclosed injury.

Edmonton 

COVID: Jesse Puljujarvi, Darnell Nurse and Will Lagesson were all activated off of the COVID list and returned to game action on Friday.

Los Angeles 

COVID: Phillip Danault and Cal Peterson were both activated off of the COVID list and dressed for Thursday’s game, while Quinton Byfield also was activated off of the COVID list but was sent to the minors.

COVID: Mario Ferraro who was placed in COVID protocol on DEC 30th missed Thursday’s game, while Jonathan Dahlen was activated off of the COVID list and returned to game action on Thursday.

Jaden Schwartz: missed Thursday’s game as he is dealing with a UBI and is day to day.

COVID: Justin Dowling was placed in COVID protocol on DEC 30th and missed Thursday’s game.

Frank Vatrano: returned to game action on Thursday for the first time since being activated off of the COVID list.

Sam Bennett: missed Thursday’s game with a undisclosed injury and is day to day.

COVID: Paul Byron and Cayden Primeau who were both placed in COVID protocol on DEC 29th, as well as Gianni Fairbother and Louis Belpedio who were both placed in COVID protocol on DEC 30th all missed Thursday’s game because of it.

COVID: Pierre Edouard-Bellemare was activated off of the COVID list and was back in game action on Thursday, while Tayler Raddysh and Cal Foote were placed on the COVID list on DEC 30th and missed Thursday’s game because of it, while  Mikhail Sergachev, Andrej Sustr and Brian Elliott were all activated off of the COVID list and returned to game action on Friday.

Zach Bogosian: missed Friday’s game with a LBI and is day to day.

Carolina 

COVID: Sebastian Aho, Seth Jarvis, 

Andrei Svechnikov, Steven Lorentz, Jordan Staal, Jesper Fast, Ian Cole, and Frederik Andersen were all taken out of COVID protocol and were back into game action in Thursday’s lineup, while Stefan Noesen and Brendan Smith we’re both activated off of the COVID list but didn’t return to game action on Thursday.

Martin Necas: did end up playing on Thursday after being a game time decision with a concussion.

Columbus 

COVID: Oliver Bjorkstrand who was placed in COVID protocol on DEC 27th and Gavin Bayreuther who was placed in COVID protocol on DEC 29th both missed Thursday’s because of being in Protocol, while Boone Jenner, Jack Roslovic, Gabriel Carlsson and Andrew Peeke were all activated off of the COVID list and returned to game action Thursday.

Patrick Laine: was activated off of IR and returned to game action on Thursday after missing 20 games due to a oblique injury. 

Adam Boqvist: was activated off of IR and returned to game action on Thursday after missing 3 games due to a UBI.

Jakub Voracek: did play today after being a game time decision with a undisclosed injury.
