John Mahura: has been injured with a UBI and will miss at least the next week with the injury.
Max Comtois: is very close to returning from hand surgery that has kept him since NOV 11th.
John Gibson: will miss his second consecutive game today due to a LBI.
Calgary
COVID: the list goes on and on as Sean Monahan, Milan Lucic and Noah Hanafin were all placed in COVID protocol yesterday while Johnny Gaudreau, Tyler Pitlick, Trevor Lewis, Bryan Froese, Rasmus Andersson, Erik Gudbranson and Jacob Markstrom were all placed in COVID protocol today and with now 17 players and some staff in COVID protocol the game for Calgary on Saturday has also been postponed.
Edmonton
Duncan Keith: returned to game action yesterday after being out since NOV 23rd with a UBI.
Zach Hyman: missed yesterday’s game with a UBI and is day to day.
COVID: Ryan McLeod was placed in COVID protocol and missed yesterday’s game and coach Dave Tippett didn’t coach in yesterday’s game due to being in COVID protocol.

Andreas Athanasiou: Left yesterday’s game with a LBI and won’t play at all on LA’s road trip.
Blake Lizzotte: has been activated off of the COVID list and could play as early as tomorrow.
Mikey Anderson: didn’t play on Tuesday due to a non COVID Illness but Gould play as early as tomorrow.

Kevin Labanc: is now going to have shoulder surgery and will miss about the next three months with the surgery.

Shea Theodore: missed practice but ended up playing in yesterday’s game anyway.
Nicolas Roy: missed yesterday’s game with a undisclosed injury and is day to day.

Travis Hamonic: was moved to LTIR and will miss a lot more time now.
COVID: early yesterday Juho Lammikko and Luke Schenn were placed in COVID protocol and missed the game yesterday, while Tucker Poolman was pulled from the game and has now been placed on the COVID list, and this morning Brad Hunt found himself in COVID protocol and they will all miss time now.

Devon Toews: has joined the growing players on the COVID protocol as he missed yesterday’s game because of it.

Roope Hintz: didn’t play on Tuesday due to a non COVID illness and has now been placed on IR.
Joel Kiviranta: missed yesterday’s game due to a UBI and is day to day.
Alexander Radulov: missed yesterday’s game with a non COVID illness and is day to day.

Jonas Brodin: would have been back from a UBI that kept him out the two previous games had the Wild played on Tuesday.

COVID: Today the Predators has some bad news as Mikael Granlund, Mart Luff, Micheal McCarron, and Ben Harpur along with head coach John Hynes joined Ryan Johansen in the COVID protocol today and while they didn’t have any game postponed, the game tomorrow is now in jeopardy.

COVID: the Blues get a lot of healthy body’s back as Tyler Bozak and Justin Faulk made their return to game action yesterday after being out for about two weeks on the COVID list, while Jordan Binnington had now been activated and could make a return as early as tomorrow.

Neal Pionk: should return after missing three games, two to a suspension and one to a concussion.
Blake Wheeler: was injured on Friday after he Left and didn’t return and is now out long term with a knee injury.

Tomas Nosek: was back Tuesday after being out since DEC 4th with a illness.
COVID: more COVID news as yesterday Brad Marchand and Craig Smith we’re both placed in the COVID protocol and both missed yesterday’s game while Patrice Bergeron was placed in the protocol today after playing yesterday.

Robert Hagg: was re-injured yesterday with a undisclosed injury and will miss at least the next two games after he returned to Buffalo to be evaluated.
Malcom Subban: was activated off of IR and backed up in yesterday’s game after recovering from injury.
Alex Tuch: practiced not using a non contact jersey and could return to the ice as early as Saturday.

COVID: some good and some bad news for the Red Wings as today Michael Rasmussen and Robbi Fabbri were placed in COVID protocol and are out for the foreseeable future, while Tyler Bertuzzi returned from the COVID list for the first time in the previous five games, and Marc Staal has been activated as well and although he hasn’t made a return he is nearing one.

COVID: more news as Ryan Lomberg was placed in the COVID protocol yesterday and missed yesterday’s game while today Carter Verhaeghe, Sam Bennett, Radko Gudas and Brandon Montour were all placed in COVID protocol today and will most likely miss tomorrow’s game.
