Hughes and Bratt both have three point nights and the Devils hold off a late Buffalo comeback attempt to help them win their first game since the break. Jesper Bratt (9) and Jack Hughes (6) both had a goal and 2 assists, Yegor Sharangovich had a goal (5) and a assist, while Dougie Hamilton (7) also scored for the Devils. Mackenzie Blackwood made 19 saves on 22 shots in the win and won for the first time in his last four starts. Florida came back from 1-0 and 2-1 deficit’s and scored three unanswered to take and held off a late attack to get Florida the win in their first game since the break. Gustav Forsling had 2 assists, while Anton Lundell (6), Mackenzie Weegar (1), Carter Verhaeghe (8) and Anthony Duclair (10) were the four goal scorers for the Panthers. Sergei Bobrovsky made 30 saves on 33 shots in the win and has won seven of his last eleven games as starter. Aleksander Barkov has his eleven game point streak ended. Florida was 0/2 on the power play, and also had 40 hits and 32 shots and ended their three game losing streak. Artemi Panarin (10) and Mika Zibanejad (8) both had a goal and a assist, while Chris Kreider (19) also scored for the Rangers. Washington scores the first three goals of the game only to have Nashville score three unanswered to tie the game but a late third period goal by Kuznetsov lifted the Caps over the Preds in their first game back. John Carlson has a goal (7) and 3 assists for a four point night, Carl Hagelin had a goal (2) and a assist, Dmitry Orlov had 2 assists, while Evgeny Kuznetsov (10), Lars Eller (6) and Nic Dowd (4) all also scored for the Capitals. Ilya Samsonov made 17 saves on 20 shots in the win and has won nine of his last twelve games as starter. Washington was 0/6 on the power play, and also had 20 hits and 37 shots and have a point in four of their last five games. The Blues opened the game with two goals before Edmonton ties it up however St.Louis would break the tie late in the second and hold on for the win. Vladimir Tarasenko (13) and Jordan Kyrou (10) both had a goal and 2 assists, Torey Krug had 2 assists, while Robert Thomas (3) and Brandon Saad (12) both also scored for the Blues. Jordan Binnington made 26 saves on 28 shots in the win. Vladimir Tarasenko (5G-4A-9P) now has a four game point streak. St.Louis was 1/4 on the power play, and also had 16 hits and 33 shots and have a point in eight of their last nine games. Leon Draisaitl (24) and Evan Bouchard (6) were the two goal scorers for the Oilers. James Van Riemsdyk’s second goal of the game tied this game up in the third when Philly was trailing, and the Flyers got the OT winner for a important win in their first game since break. James Van Riemsdyk scores twice (6 and 7), Claude Giroux had 2 assists, while Ivan Provorov (3) also scored for the Flyers. Martin Jones made 34 saves on 36 shots in the win and has won three consecutive games as starter. Travis Sanheim (2G-3A-5P) now has a four game point streak. Philadelphia was 1/3 on the power play, and also had 20 hits and 22 shots and now have a six game point streak. Yanni Gourde (7) and Jeremy Lauzon (1) were the two goal scorers for the Kraken. The Canucks were down one goal heading to the third but tied it up and sent it to Overtime where they would get the winning goal to extend their winning streak since the coaching change. J.T Miller had a goal (11) and a assist, while Tanner Pearson (5) also scored for the Canucks. Thatcher Demko made 22 saves on 23 shots in the win and has won six consecutive games as starter and eight of his last nine starts. J.T Miller (3G-8A-11P) extended his point streak to seven games. Vancouver was 0/2 on the power play, and also had 30 hits and 37 shots and are on a seven game winning streak and have won nine of their last ten games.
