New York R 4 Philadelphia 1 Final

The Rangers get a big helping hand from Shesterkin as he shuts the door and helps the Rangers down the Flyers. Artemi Panarin had a goal (6) and a assist, Kaapo Kakko had 2 assists, while Chris Kreider (16), Dryden Hunt (3) and Jacob Trouba (4) all also scored for the Rangers. Igor Shesterkin made 33 saves on 34 shots in the win and have won four consecutive starts. Adam Fox (0G-6A-6P) has a four game point streak. New York R was 1/2 on the power play, and also had 21 hits and 28 shots and are on a four game winning streak and have won eight of their last nine games. Vancouver scores four consecutive goals after Ottawa tied it at one and after some horrible games the Canucks have won back to back games. Quinn Hughes had 4 assists, J.T Miller had a goal (8) and 2 assists, Luke Schenn had a goal (1) and a assist, Conor Garland had 2 assists, while Tanner Pearson (4), Tyler Motte (2), Bo Horvat (7) and Alex Chiasson (3) all also scored for the Canucks. Thatcher Demko made 19 saves on 21 shots and added a assist while he has won back to back starts for only the second time this season. Vancouver was 2/6 on the power play, and also  had 22 hits and 35 shots. Ottawa had the only lineup changes as Adam Gaudette who made his Senators debut, Drake Batherson who was played for the first time since being activated off of the COVID list, and Lassi Thomson replaces Logan Shaw, Tyler Ennis and Michael Del Zotto. Adam Gaudette (2) and Brady Tkachuk (5) were the two goal scorers for the Senators. Filip Gustavsson made 29 saves on 35 shots in the loss and has lost four consecutive starts. Ottawa was 1/5 on the power play, and also had 21 hits and 21 shots and are on a six game losing streak and have lost twelve of their last thirteen games.

Toronto scores the first three goals of the game and put up a monster eight goals on the Avalanche to crush them. Auston Matthews had a hat trick (11,12 and 13), John Tavares had a goal (11) and 2 assists, Michael Bunting had 3 assists, William Nylander had a goal (10) and a assist, Alex Kerfoot and Mitch Marner both had 2 assists, while Jason Spezza (5), Travis Dermott (1) and Pierre Engvall (3) all also scored for the Maple Leafs. Jack Campbell made 28 saves on 31 shots in the win and has won three consecutive starts. Michael Bunting (2G-7A-9P) extends his point streak to five games, while William Nylander (3G-4A-7P),John Tavares (3G-6A-9P),Wayne Simmonds (2G-3A-5P) and Auston Matthews (6G-1A-7P) all now have four game point streaks. Cale Makar had his six game point streak ended, but Gabriel Landeskog (0G-7A-7P) extended his point streak to five games. Colorado was 1/4 on the power play, and also had 27 hits and 31 shots.

Detroit 4 Seattle 3 Final/SO

In a game where there was multiple lead changes the Kraken were able to tie the game with a late third period goal but Detroit won in the shootout to recover and keep their winning streak. Dylan Larkin and Moritz Seider  both had 2 assists, Lucas Raymond (10), Vladislav Namestnikov (8) and Robbi Fabbri (5) all scored in regulation, while Dylan Larkin and Adam Erne both scored in the shootout for the Red Wings. Thomas Greiss made 21 saves on 24 shots in the loss and won as starter for the first time in four games. Pius Suter (1G-3A-4P) now has a four game point streak. Detroit was 1/3 on the power play, and also had 22 hits and 26 shots and have a four game winning streak and a five game point streak. Both teams had lineup changes for Detroit Kyle Criscuolo who made his season debut replaced Tyler Bertuzzi who is now in COVID protocol, and for Seattle Colin Blackwell, Kole Lind, Jeremy Lauzon and Joey Daccord who was backup replaced Jaden Schwartz, Jordan Eberle, Will Borgen and Chris Dreidger all of whom are currently injured. Ryan Donato scored twice (4 and 5), while Vince Dunn (2) also scored for the Kraken. Philipp Grubauer made 23 saves on 26 shots in the SO loss and has lost six of his last eight games. Seattle was 1/3 on the power play, and also had 22 hits and 24 shots and now have a three game point streak.

Edmonton 5 Pittsburgh 2 Final

Connor McDavid once again puts the Oilers on his back as he gets four points to send Pittsburgh back on another losing streak. Connor McDavid had a goal (15) and 3 assists for a four point night, Zach Hyman scored twice (10 and 11), Evan Bouchard had a goal (3) and a assist, while Kailer Yamamoto (5) also scored for the Oilers. Mikko Koskinen made 32 saves on 34 shots in the victory and has won three consecutive starts. Edmonton was 0/3 on the power play, and also had 15 hits and 22 shots and are on a three game winning streak and have won five of their last six games. Edmonton was the only team to have lineup changes as Markus Niemelainen who made his NHL debut replaced Cody Ceci who was placed in the COVID protocol. Jake Guentzel (10) and Teddy Blueger (6) were the two goal scorers for the Penguins. Tristan Jarry made 17 saves on 21 shots and Edmonton added a EN goal as Jarry had his first regulation loss in the last seven games. Jake Guentzel (7G-5A-12P) has a eleven game point streak, and Sidney Crosby (1G-5A-6P) has a four game point streak. Anaheim had a four goal second period that propelled them to a 4-1 lead and fought off multiple Vegas comeback attempts to win a tight division game. Trevor Zegras and Sonny Milano both had 3 assists, Jamie Drysdale had a goal (3) and a assist, while Isac Lundestrom (6), Hampus Lindholm (3), Josh Manson (2), Rickard Rakell (7) and Troy Terry (15) all also scored for the Ducks. Anthony Stolarz made 34 saves on 39 shots in the win and has won three consecutive starts. Anaheim was 0/3 on the power play, and also had 23 hits and 34 shots and have won three of their last four games. Both teams had lineup changes for Anaheim Vinni Letteri ans Josh Mahura replaced injured Ryan Getzlaf and Simon Benoit and for Vegas Michael Amadio who was activated off of the COVID list replaced Adam Brooks. Max Pacioretty (3) and Mattias Janmark (2) both had a goal and assist, while Zach Whitecloud (3), William Carrier (3) and Reilly Smith (10) all also scored for the Golden Knights. Robin Lehner made 28 saves on 33 shots in the loss and Anaheim added a EN goal, while Lehner has lost four of his last five starts. Jonathan Marchessault had his seven game point streak ended. Vegas was 2/4 on the power play, and also had 15 hits and 39 shots and have lost three of their last four games.
