After Washington opened the scoring Chicago would score 3 consecutive goals only to give up 3-1 and 4-3 leads but ended up with a OT victory. Alex DeBrincat scored twice (15 and 16), Caleb Jones had a goal (1) and a assist, Kirby Dach, Patrick Kane and Brandon Hagel all had two assists, while Philip Kurashev (1) and Mackenzie Entwistle (3) both also scored for the Blackhawks. Marc Andre Fleury made 42 saves on 46 shots in the win and has won four of his last five games as starter. Chicago was 3/6 on the power play, and also had 20 hits and 28 shots and have alternated wins and losses over the last twelve games.
