Metro Division trade rumors.
Carolina, New Jersey, Washington and Philadelphia: there hasn’t been basically any trade rumors for these four teams as they are all having good season with Carolina and Washington having 29 and 27 points respectively and both yet to reach 20 games both absolutely don’t need any moves and even Philly and New Jersey are still doing good enough that they don’t need to consider any trades.
Columbus: even with the great start of 10-6-0 there have been plenty of rumors that Columbus could shop multiple pieces, the most likely being Jonas Korpisalo as he is a pending UFA and there are a couple teams who could want a starting goalie and I could see Columbus ask a top prospect and 2nd for him and after he is dealt (I feel he will be the first to go, and could be traded as early as December) then I think they will move on from other pending UFA’s like Max Domi and Gregory Hoffman who are fourth line forwards and Dean Kukan who is a 3rd pair defencemen as well as I have heard if they really want to sell then they could consider Patrick Laine and Jakub Voracek but i think the way does two are playing they won’t be moved.
New York I: now I have heated plenty of rumors about this team as they have had a really bad start to the season and after trading Leddy in the offseason they have been a worse defensive team so even thought they could try and get a impact top nine forward I think they will try to get a defender. Now getting a top 4 puck moving left shot defensemen with term seems to be what they are after and here are four guys who I say could be moved to the Islanders 1) Travis Dermott could be a top four if he upped his play sounds like he is on the market and has 2 years at $1.5 Million, 2) Samuel Girard who may not be on the market but is definitely a puck moving D-Men and has 6 years left at $5 Million, 3) Hampus Lindholm is definitely a puck moving D-Man and could be on the Market but is a pending UFA at $5.2 Million and 4) Vince Dunn Seattle might consider moving him because Seattle is having a very bad year this year is definitely the puck moving defensemen and had 2 years at $4 Million and tell me in the comments of you think any of these four players voild be acquired by NYI.
New York R: they have been reportedly been looking at two holes they have on their team. One after Sammy Blais went down with a torn ACL and is now out for the season the Rangers have been looking for a middle six forward who they could use to replace Blais minutes. Now they could look for a cheaper guy who is versatile and has good puck moving abilities, the first couple that come to mind that could be available are Joel Armia with Montreal and Lawson Crouse with Arizona or they could go for someone who is more of a top six player but would need to move Cap around would be Vladimir Tarasenko with St.Louis, Phil Kessel with Arizona or maybe even Dylan Strome with Chicago. And for the Defense they could look for a left side third pair D-Men as Nemeth May need help and some guys who come to mine could be Calvin De Haan with Chicago and Ben Chiarot with Montreal and they could be active in the coming months.
Pittsburgh: just something quick here as the Penguins could be looking for a third pair right side defensemen and have been connected to Justin Holl. The Maple Leafs are reportedly shopping Holl and could be looking for a goalie or forward in return and with Holl being a healthy scratch on multiple occasions then it would make sense that the Penguins are interested in Holl. He has two years left at $2 Million and would be a definite upgrade over current 3rd pairing right side D-Men Chad Ruhwedel.
