Tampa Bay 5 Ottawa 3 Final

Tampa gets a huge win as Stamkos, Palat and Point combine for eight points to help beat division rival Ottawa. Ondrej Palat had a goal (4) and 2 assists, Brayden Point had 3 assists, Seaven Stamkos (6) and Anthony Cirelli (3) both had a goal and assist, while Jan Rutta (1) and Victor Hedman (1) both also scored for the Lightning. Brian Elliott made 24 saves on 27 shots in the win. Tampa Bay was 1/2 on the power play, and also had 20 hits and 33 shots and are on a five game point streak. Each team had lineup changes for Tampa Bay Frederik Claesson who made his season debut replaced suspended Mikhail Sergachev and for Ottawa Logan Shaw, Parker Kelly and now Healthy Nikita Zaitsev replaced Tyler Ennis who has non COVID illness, Austin Watson who was placed in COVID protocol and Michael Del Zotto. Florida 5 Carolina 3 Final

Florida gets a big your goal first period and they hand the Hurricanes their first regulation loss of the season. Anthony Duclair scores twice (7 and 8) and also had 2 assists, Carter Verhaeghe and Brandon Montour both had 2 assists, while Frank Vatrano (3), Anton Lundell (2) and Patrick Hornqvist (1) all also scored for the Panthers. Spencer Knight made 30 saves on 32 shots in the win. Jonathan Huberdeau had his seven game point streak end, but Anthony Duclair (5G-4A-9P) now has a six game point streak. Columbus 4 Colorado 2 Final 

Columbus scores the game winner with only 1:02 left in the game to send them to a win over Colorado. Vladislav Gavrikov and Yegor Chinakhov both had 2 assists, while Cole Sillinger (4), Oliver Bjorkstrand (5), Alex Texier (3) and Gabriel Carlsson (1) all scored for the Blue Jackets. Elvis Merzlikins made 34 saves on 36 shots and added a assist. Columbus was 1/4 on the power play, and also had 29 hits and 42 shots and are on a three game winning streak. Each team had lineup changes for Columbus Kevin Stenlund replaced injured Patrick Laine and for Colorado now healthy players Mikko Rantanen, Andre Burakovsky and Devin Toews replaced injured Martin Kaut as well as Jacob McDonald and Kurtis Macdermid. Detroit came back from down 3-1 to overtake Buffalo and win with help from Bertuzzi. Tyler Bertuzzi scored twice (7 and 8) and added 2 assists, Lucas Raymond had 3 assists, Pius Suter had a goal (2) and a assist, while Moritz Seider who had his first NHL goal (1) also scored for the Red Wings. Alex Nedeljkovic made 29 saves on 32 shots in the win. Detroit was 0/1 on the power play, and also had 13 hits and 33 shots and ended a four game losing streak. Both teams had lineup changes for Detroit Givani Smith and Danny DeKeyser replaced Carter Rowney ans Troy Stecher while for Buffalo Aaron Dell replaced injured Craig Anderson. The Islanders had another brilliant performance from Ilya Sorokin as they get a huge win over Winnipeg. Brock Nelson (7) and Andres Lee (2) both scored for the Islanders. Ilya Sorokin made 24 saves in his third shutout of the season and in the win. New York I was 0/1 on the power play, and also had 26 hits and 31 shots and extended their point streak to seven games. Toronto 5 Boston 2 Final 

In the first game in almost two between the two original six rivals Toronto is able to come away victorious over Boston. Mitch Marner had a goal (3) and 3 assists, John Tavares had two goals (5 and 6) and a assist, Auston Matthews scored twice (4 and 5), while Morgan Reilly had 2 assists for the Maple Leafs. Jack Campbell made 42 saves on 44 shots in the win. John Tavares (5G-4A-9P) and Mitch Marner (3G-8A-11P) both have five game point streaks. Toronto was 2/4 on the power play, and also had 22 hits and 36 shots and extended their winning streak to five games. Toronto was the only team that had a lineup change as Justin Woll who was the backup replaced Petr Mrazek. Vegas gets their first two PPG’s of the season and it sparks a comeback as they score five unanswered to down the Canadiens. Alex Pietrangelo (2) and Chandler Stephenson (5) both had a goal and assist, while Jonathan Marchessault (5), Dylan Coghlan (1) and Brayden McNabb (1) all also scored for the Golden Knights. Robin Lehner made 36 saves on 38 shots and also had a assist in the win. Vegas was 2/2 on the power power, and also had 18 hits and 18 shots and have won five of their last six games. Montreal has the only lineup change as Cedric Paquette who is now off suspension replaced Adam Brooks. Nick Suzuki had a goal (3) and a assist, while Tyler Toffoli (3) also scored for the Canadiens. Minnesota survives two 2 goal deficits and a Kasperi Kapanen hat trick to come back and defeat the Penguins in overtime. Jared Spurgeon (2) and Kirill Kaprizov (2) both had a goal and assist, Fredric Gaudreau had 2 assists, Joel Eriksson Ek (4) and Ryan Hartman (5) also scored in regulation while Kevin Fiala, Kirill Kaprizov ans Nick Bjugstad all scored in the shootout. Cam Talbot made 35 saves on 39 shots in the win. Minnesota was 0/2 on the power play, and also had 28 hits and 40 shots. Each team had lineup changes for Minnesota a now healthy Alex Goligoski replaces Calen Addison and for Pittsburgh Brian Rust who was activated off of IR replaced Sam Lafferty. Kasperi Kapanen has a hat trick (1,2 and 3), Brian Rust, Jason Zucker and Evan Rodrigues all had 2 assists, while Jake Guentzel (3) also scored for the Penguins. Markstrom has his league leading shutout and helped the Flames extend their point streak into double digits with the blowout win. Arizona comes back from down 2-0 and 3-1 early to find their first win of the season. Shayne Gostisbehere has 3 assists, Lawson Crouse scored twice (3 and 4), Johan Larsson had 2 assists, while Phil Kessel (2), Tyler Boyd (2) and Antoine Roussel (1) all also scored for the Coyotes.
