Tampa Bay 5 Minnesota 4 Final/SO

Ramps Bay held 2-0 and 4-2 leads in this game but Minnesota came back both times but the Lightning held on to win in a shootout. Anthony Cirelli scored twice (5 and 6), while Patrick Maroon (4) and Alex Barre Boulet (2) both also scored in regulation while Steven Stamkos was the lone goal scorer in the shootout for the Lightning. Brian Elliott made 28 on 32 shots in the win and has won back to back starts. Victor Hedman (2G-5A-7P) has a five game point streak. Tampa Bay was 1/4 on the power play, and also had 26 hits and 24 shots and had won four of their last five games. Both teams had lineup changes for Tampa Bay Alex Barre Boulet and Cal Foote replaced Brayden Point who is injured and Fredric Claesson and for Minnesota Jordie Benn replaced injured Jared Spurgeon. Kevin Fiala had a goal (3) and a assist, Alex Goligoski had 2 assists, while Joel Eriksson Ek (8), Marcus Foligno (7) and Brandon Duhaime (3) were also the goal scorers for the Wild. Buffalo blew three one goal leads and end up blowing a 4-3 lead and gave up the game winning goal with 0.7 seconds left in the game to fall to the Rangers. Artemi Panarin had 3 assists, Adam Fox had 2 assists, while  Chris Kreider (13), Jakub Trouba (2), Kappo Kakko (3), K’Andre Miller (2) and Ryan Lindgren (2) we’re all the Rangers goal scorers in this game. Alex Georgiev let in 4 goals on 18 shots before being replaced by Igor Shesterkin who stoped all 4 shots he faced in the win and in Relief. Ryan Strome (1G-6A-7P) extended his point streak to six games, while Kaapo Kakko (3G-2A-5P) now has a four game point streak. New York R was 1/1 on the power play, and also had 34 hits and 36 shots and have won five of their last six games. Both teams had lineup changes for New York R Jared Tinordi replaced Nils Lundkvist and for Buffalo Victor Olofsson who is now healthy replaced Arrtu Ruotsalainen. Tage Thompson (6) and Rasmus Dahlin (3) both had a goal and assist, while Rasmus Asplund (3) and Vinnie Hinostroza (2) both also scored for the Sabres. Calgary 4 Boston 0 Final

The Flames are able to win again as they earn another shutout except this time with Vladar. Matthew Tkachuk has 2 assists, while Johnny Gaudreau (8), Noah Hanafin (1), Andrew Mangiapane (15) and Mikael Backlund (4) all were the goal scorers for the Flames. Dan Vladar stoped all 27 shots he faced in the win and his second consecutive shutout and his second shutout of the season. Elias Lindholm (1G-5A-6P) extends his point streak to five game’s, while Johnny Gaudreau (4G-3A-7P) now has a four game point streak. Calgary was 0/2 on the power play, and also had 28 hits and 31 shots and now have a three game winning streak and six game point streak. Calgary has the only lineup change as Juuso Valimaki replaced Nikita Zadorov. Boston was shutout for the second time this season. Jeremy Swayman made 27 saves on 31 shots in the loss and had his first loss starting in the last five games. Brad Marchand’s eight game point streak and David Pastrnak’s six game point streak both ended. Boston was 0/3 on the power play, and also had 37 hits and 27 shots and and had their three game winning streak end.

Toronto 3 New York I 0 Final 

The Maple Leafs Storm New York I new building as Marner scores twice and Will gets his first ever shutout in the Toronto victory. Mitch Marner scored twice (5 and 6), while Ondrej Kase (5) also scored for the Maple Leafs. Joseph Woll stoped all 20 shots he faced in the win and his first career NHL shutout. Toronto was 0/3 on the power play, and also had 12 hits and 40 shots and have won six of their last seven games. New York I had the only lineup change as Anthony Beauvillier who is off the COVID protocol replaced Kiefer Belllows who was placed on the COVID list. New York I was shutout for the second time this season. Ilya Sorokin made 37 saves on 40 shots in the loss and has lost three consecutive starts in regulation. New York I was 0/3 on the power play, and also had 28 hits and 20 shots and have a six game losing streak.

Chicago 1 Vancouver 0 Final

Chicago fought hard with Vancouver in a goalie dual but the Balckhawks came away with the win as Hagel scored the lone goal in the game. Brandon Hagel (5) was the lone goal scorer for the Blackhawks. Marc Andre Fleury stoped all 40 shots he faced in the win and in his first shutout as a Blackhawk and has won his last four starts. Seth Jones eight game point streak and Alex DeBrincat’s five game point streak both ended. Chicago was 0/3 on the power play, and also had 22 hits and 24 shots and have won five of their last six games. Chicago has the only lineup change as Henrik Borgstrom and Calvin De Haan replaced Reece Johnson and Caleb Jones. Vancouver was shutout for the first time this season in today’s game. Thatcher Demko made 23 saves on 24 shots in the loss and has lost four of his last five starts. Vancouver was 0/3 on the power play, and also had 22 hits and 40 shots and and have lost six of their last seven games.

Seattle 5 Washington 2 Final

Finally Seattle gets a Defensive performance they can be happy with and scored four unanswered after Washington open the scoring to lift Seattle to a victory. Jaden Schwartz had a goal (4) and 3 assists, Calle Jarnkrok (1) and Yanni Gourde (5) both had a goal and assist, while Adam Larsson (1) and Jared McCann (7) also scored for the Kraken. Philipp Grubauer made 37 saves on 39 shots in the win and his first win as starter since NOV 4th. Jordan Eberle’s seven game point streak ended. Seattle was 1/1 on the power play, and also had 21 hits and 31 shots and ended their six game losing streak. Washington was the only team to have lineup changes as T.J Oshie and Connor Sheary who are both injured were replaced by Brett Leason and Dennis Chlowski who played his first game for Washington. Tom Wilson had a goal (6) and a assist, while Alex Ovechkin (15) also scored for the Capitals. Vitek Vanacek made 26 saves on 30 shots and Seattle added a EN goal, while Vanacek has lost seven of his eleven starts this season. Washington was 0/4 on the power play, and also had 17 hits and 39 shots and had their seven game point streak ended.

On back to back nights Arizona gave up the opening goal, tied the game in the third, and won it in Overtime as the Coyotes continue their recent hot streak. Travis Boyd had a goal (3) and a assist, Clayton Keller had 2 assists, while Kyle Capobianco (2) also scored for the Coyotes. Karel Vejmelka made 37 saves on 38 shots in the win and his first NHL win in his first eleven starts.
