Toronto 3 Philadelphia 0 Final

William Nylander’s two goal game and Jack Campbell’s shutout helps the Leafs get back on track as they beat the Flyers. William Nylander scored twice (6 and 7), Auston Matthews had 2 assists, while Ondrej Kase (2) also scored for the Maple Leafs. Jack Campbell made 36 saves on 36 shots in his second shutout of the season and in the win. Mitch Marner’s six game point streak ended but William Nylander (4G-3A-7P) now has a five game point streak. Toronto was 1/3 on the power play, and also had 16 hits and 33 shots and have won six of their last seven games. Toronto had the only lineup changes as Kirill Semyonov who made his NHL debut and Justin Holl replaced Injured John Tavares as well as Travis Dermott. Philadelphia was shutout for the second time this season. Carter Hart made 30 saves on 33 shots in the loss. Philadelphia was 0/4 on the power play, and also had 22 hits and 36 shots and had their three game point streak end.

Minnesota wound up pulling away from the Colin the second and Fiala’s three point night helped to lift Minnesota over Arizona. Kaapo Kahkonen made 24 saves on 26 shots in the win. Minnesota was 2/3 on the power play, and also had 14 hits and 30 shots and are on a four game winning streak. Both teams had lineup changes for Minnesota a healthy Jordan Greenway replaced Victor Rask and for Arizona Andrew Ladd and Travis Boyd replaced Ben McCartney and Liam O’Brien.
