Buffalo off to a hot start. Buffalo gets a narrow defeat in a shootout over Arizona and for a team who should barely win at all this year starting out with two wins is Amazing. Cody Eakin (1) had the lone goal in regulation while Tage Thompson and Arrtu Ruotsalainen each scored in the shootout. Dustin Tokarski made 20 saves on 21 shots in the win. Buffalo was 1/2 on the power play, and also had 15 hits and 33 shots.
