Double dipping in OT. Jack Hughes gets his second goal of the game in overtime as the Devils win halts Blackhawks comeback. Jack Hughes scores twice (1 and 2), while Dougie Hamilton (1) and Andreas Johnsson (1) also scored for the Devils. Jonathan Bernier made 24 saves on 27 shots in the win. New Jersey was 0/2 on the power play, and also had 17 hits and 29 shots. Adam Gaudette and Erik Gustafsson replaces Ryan Carpenter and Ian Mitchell in the lineup while Dawson Mercer had a assist in his NHL debut. Tyler Johnson and Patrick Kane each had 2 assists, while Alex Debrincat (1), Dominik Kubalik (1) and Kirby Dach (1) all scored for the Blackhawks. Kevin Lankinen made 25 saves on 29 shots in the loss. Chicago was 2/2 on the power play, and also had 15 hits and 27 shots.

Recovery in Philly. Vancouver recovers after blowing a two goal lead to win in the Shootout. J.T Miller had a goal (1) and 2 assists, Elias Pettersson (1) and Alex Chiasson (1) both had a goal and assist, while Vasily Podkolzin (1) scored his first NHL goal for the Canucks in regulation while Elias Pettersson and J.T Miller each scored a shootout goal. Thatcher Demko made 31 saves on 35 shots in the win. Vancouver was 2/4 on the power play, and also had 23 hits and 39 shots. Vancouver had no lineup changes. Joel Farabee has a goal (1) and assist, Ryan Ellis, Sean Couturier, Keith Yandle all had two assists, Travis Konecny (1), Cam Atkinson (1), and Claude Giroux (1) also scored for the Flyers. Carter Hart made 35 saves on 39 shots in the win. Philadelphia was 1/3 on the power play, and also had 38 hits and 35 shots.

Troy Terry and John Gibson were replaced by Max Jones and Lucas Dostal because of injury while Brandon Duhaime made his NHL debut. Jakob Silfverberg (1) was the lone goal scorer for Anaheim.
