 Vegas 6 Minnesota 2 Final

Vegas was able to for a second straight year win a playoff series after having a 3-1 series lead and losing games 5 and 6 and sets up one of the most anticipated matches of the season with the Avalanche. Matthias Janmark had a hat trick (1,2 and 3), Nick Roy, Chandler Stephenson, and Shea Theodore each had two assists, while Nick Hague (1), Max Pacioretty (1), and Zach Whitecloud (1) also scored for the Golden Knights. Marc Andre Fleury made 18 saves in the win. The Golden Knights were 0/1 on the power play, and also had 49 hits and 34 shots. Vegas had the only lineup change as Max Pacioretty who made his series debut and Ryan Reaves replaced Cody Glass and Keegan Kolesar. Zach Parise (2) and Kirill Kaprizov (2) both scored for the Wild. Cam Talbot made 28 saves in the loss. The Wild were 1/2 on the power play (Kaprizov has the PPG), and also had 53 hits and 20 shots. My thoughts: when I first predicted this game little did I know it would be the only first round series that I got both the team and number of games right, I was uneasy after Minnesota won games 5 and 6 but Vegas looks good going to Colorado. Vegas wins series 4-3.

My prediction Vegas 4-3
