St.Louis 7 Minnesota 3 Final

St.Louis goes into their playoff series with Vegas after beating Minnesota in back to back blowouts. David Perron had two goals (18 and 19) and a assist, Mike Hoffman had three assists, Jordan Kyrou (13 and 14) and Brayden Schenn (15 and 16) each scored twice, while Zach Sanford (10) also scored for the Blues. Jordan Binnington made 17 saves in his sixth start in the last eight games. St.Louis finishes their season with a three game winning streak. Each team had lineup changes for Minnesota Kyle Rau, Luke Johnson, Zach Parise, Brad Hunt and Dakota Mermis replaced Kirill, Kaprizov, Mats Zuccarello, Kevin Fiala, Jared Spurgeon, and Jonas Brodin while for St.Louis Tyler Bozak, Sammy Blais, and Steven Santini replaced Mackenzie Maceachern, Jayden Schwartz, and Colton Parayko. Marcus Foligno had a goal (11) and assist, while Ryan Suter (3) and Nico Sturm (11) each scored for the Wild. Kappo Kahkonen made 20 saves in his second start in the last four games. Minnesota ends the season with back to back losses. 

Minnesota finishes 3rd in the West 35-16-5 record, 75 points, are locked at 3rd, all 56 games are played.

St.Louis finishes 4th in the West 27-20-9 record, 63 points, are locked at 4th, all 56 games are played.



Calgary 4 Vancouver 1 Final

Calgary wins the first bof four straight games against the Canucks and they come out on top in this one. Elias Lindholm (18) and Matthew Tkachuk (12) each had a goal and assist, Johnny Gaudreau had two assists, while Rasmus Andersson (5) and  Andrew Mangiapane (14) also scored for the Flames. Jacob Markstrom made 24 saves in his fourteenth consecutive start. Calgary has won three of their last five games. Each team had one lineup change for Calgary Josh Leivo replaced Sean Monahan and for Vancouver Olli Joulevi replaced Jack Rathbone. Matthew Highmore (1) was the lone goal scorer for the Canucks. Thatcher Demko made 24 saves in his fifth start in the last six games. Vancouver has lost nine of their last eleven games.

Calgary is T5th in the North 24-26-3 record, 51 points, Eliminated from Playoff Contention, 53 games played.

Vancouver is 7th in the North 21-28-3 record, 45 points, Eliminated from Playoff Contention, 52 games played.



Colorado 5 Los Angeles 1 Final 

Colorado wins the president trophy and has home ice advantage though out the playoffs and a date with the St.Louis Blues. Tyson Jost scored twice (6 and 7), Andre Burakovsky had a goal (19) and assist, Mikko Rantanen and Connor Timmins each had two assists, while Pierre Edouard Bellemare (9) and Jonas Donskoi (17) also scored for the Avalanche. Andre Burakovsky has a eight game point streak (5G-7A-12P). Jonas Johansson made 21 saves in his second start in the last four games. Colorado finishes with a five game winning streak. The only lineup change was for Los Angeles as Drake Rymsha who made his NHL debut and Matt Luff replaced Andreas Athanasiou and Austin Wagner. Sean Walker (5) was the lone goal scorer for the Kings. Troy Grosenick made 38 saves in his second start of the season. Los Angeles finishes the season with a five game losing streak.

Colorado finishes 1st in the league and West 39-13-4 record, 82 points, are locked at 1st, all 56 games are played.

Los Angeles finishes 6th in the West 21-28-7 record, 49 points, are locked at 6th, all 56 games are played.



MAY 14th



Winnipeg 4 Toronto 2 Final 

Winnipeg is able to beat Toronto as both teams ended their regular season and are looking towards the playoffs. Kyle Connor scored twice (25 and 26), Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler each had two assists, while Mason Appleton (12) and Jansen Harkins (1) each scored for the Jets. Mark Scheifele has a five game point streak (2G-6A-8P). Connor Hellebuyck made 34 saves in his fourth start in the last five games. Winnipeg finishes the season winning three of their last five games. Each team had one lineup change for Winnipeg Jansen Harkins replaces Andrew Copp and for Toronto Adam Brooks replaced Mitch Marner. Pierre Engvall (7) and Ilya Mikheyev (7) each scored for the Maple Leafs. Auston Matthews seven game point streak and William Nylander’s eight game point streak ended but Jake Muzzin extended his point streak to five games (1G-6A-7P). Jack Campbell made 20 saves in his fifth start in the last six games. Toronto finishes their season losing three of their last five games. 

Toronto finishes 1st in the North 35-14-7 record, 77 points, are locked at 1st, all 56 games are played.

Winnipeg finishes 3rd in the North 30-23-3 record, 63 points, are locked at 3rd, all 56 games are played.
