Each team had one lineup change for Columbus Liam Foudy replaced Joshua Dunne and for Detroit Joe Veleno who made his NHL debut replaced Alex Biega. Detroit was shutout for a seventh time this year. New Jersey 5 Philadelphia 4 Final

New Jersey sends Philadelphia to the brink of Elimination after Philly’s loss. Pavel Zacha (12) and Connor Carrick (1) each had a goal and assist, Tysmith, Jack Hughes, and Michael McLeod all had two assists, while Nico Hischier (5), Miles Wood (17), Yegor Sharangovich (12), and Mikhail Maltsev (6) all also scored for New Jersey. Mackenzie Blackwood made 26 saves in his third consecutive start. New Jersey ended a ten game losing streak. Each team had lineup changes for Philadelphia Egor Zamula replaced San Morin while for New Jersey Mikhail Maltsev, Nolan Foote, and Ty Smith replaced Andreas Johnsson, Nick Merkley, and Colton White. Oscar Lindblom (8), Philippe Myers (1), Claude Giroux (14), and Travis Sanheim (3) all scored for Philadelphia. Jacob Voracek (1G-4A-5P) and Sean Couturier (1G-3A-4P) each have a four game point streak. Brian Elliott made 21 saves in his fourth start in the last five games. Brayden Point had a goal (21) and two assists, Alex Killorn scored twice (13 and 14), Erik Cernak (4) and Blake Coleman (11) each had a goal and assist, Mikhail Sergachev and Ondrej Palat had two assists, while Yanni Gourde (17) and Barre-Boulet (2) also scored for Tampa Bay. Ondrej Palat has a six game point streak (2G-7A-9P). Andrei Vasilevskiy made 36 saves in his sixth start in the last seven games. Tampa Bay is on a three game winning streak.
