 Tampa Bay 3 Columbus 1 Final 

Tampa Bay keeps up with the Hurricanes for top spot in the Central with the win. Blake Coleman scored twice (9 and 10), while Ondrej Palat (13) also scored for Tampa Bay. Ondrej Palat has a four game point streak (1G-3A-4P). Curtis McElinney made 24 saves in his second start since Mar 30. Tampa Bay has won five of their last eight games. Boston crushes the Sabres to creep closer to a playoff spot. David Pastrnak has a five game point streak (2G-7A-9P). Jeremy Swayman made 29 saves in his first start in just under a week. Boston has a six game winning streak. Pittsburgh is now tied for second and one point back of top spot in the East with the victory. Sidney Crosby (19), Brian Rust (19), Kasperi Kapanen (8), and Teddy Blueger (7) each had a goal and assist, Kris Letang had two assists, while Cody Ceci (4) also scored for Pittsburgh. Cody Ceci (1G-3A-4P) and Teddy Blueger (3G-2A-5P) each have four game point streaks. Tristan Jarry 30 saves in his fifth start in the last six games. Pittsburgh has won three of their last four games. Each team had lineup changes for New Jersey as Jesper Boqvist and Pavel Zacha replaced Nolan Foote and Marian Studenic and for Pittsburgh Kasperi Kapanen replaced Sam Lafferty. Toronto extends their lead for top spot in the North with the victory. Mitch Marner scored twice (15 and 16) and a assist, Auston Matthews scored (34) and had two assists, while Jason Spezza (10) and Wayne Simmonds (7) also scored for Toronto.  John Tavares has a seven game point streak (4G-7A-11P) while William Nylander’s four game point streak ended. Jack Campbell made 34 saves in his third start in the last four. Toronto ended their five game losing streak. Each team had lineup changes for Toronto Travis Dermott and Nick Foligno who made his Maple Leafs debut replaced Zach Bogosian and Nick Robertson and Winnipeg replaced Jansen Harkins and Logan Stanley with Blake Wheeler and Jordie Benn who made his Jets debut. Marc Scheifele (18) and Andrew Copp (15) each had a goal and assist, Mason Appleton had two assists, while Kyle Connor (22) also scored for Winnipeg. Connor Hellebuyck made 3 saves on 6 shots before being replaced by Laurent Brossoit who made 25 saves in relief. Winnipeg has lost back to back games.



Philadelphia 3 New York R 2 Final 

Philadelphia comes back to stop the Rangers and get a valuable two points. James Van Riemsdyk scores twice (15 and 16), Ivan Provorov has two assist, while Jacob Voracek (9) also scored. Brian Elliott made 33 saves in his second consecutive start. Philadelphia has a point in three of their last four games. Each team had lineup changes for New York R  Zac Jones who made his NHL debut and Libor Hajek replaced Anthony Bitetto and Jacob Trouba and for Philadelphia Philippe Myers and Nolan Patrick replaced Sam Morin and Carson Twaryinski. Artemi Panarin (17) and Brendan Smith (4) each scored for the Rangers. Igor Shesterkin made 33 saves in his seventh consecutive start. New York R has lost consecutive games.

Washington 1 New York I 0 Final/SO

Washington took a low scoring shootout win to take top spot in the East. Niklas Backstrom and Evgeny Kuznetsov both scored in the shootout. Anthony Mantha and Dmitry Orlov each had their five game point streaks end. Ilya Samsonov made 26 saves in his second shutout of the year. Washington has won five of their last seven games. Carolina 4 Florida 2 Final 

Carolina is now 2 points above Florida for top spot in the Central. Sebastian Aho scores twice (19 and 20), Martin Necas had three assists, while Jordan Martinook (4) and Nino Niederriter (17) also scored for Carolina. Dougie Hamilton had his four game point streak end. Alex Nedeljkovic made 32 saves in his third start in the last four games. Carolina is on a five game point streak. Each team had lineup changes for Carolina Joachim Ryan replaced Brady Skjei and for Florida Eetu Luostarinen, Patrick Hornqvist, and Mackenzie Weegar replaced Mason Marchment, Matt Kierstad, and Anton Stralman. Alex Barkov scored both goals (20 and 21) for Florida. Detroit 7 Dallas 3 Final 

Detroit upsets Dallas to get out of the basement of the Central. Jacob Vrana has a Hat Trick plus one (13,14,15 and 16), Sam Gagner has a goal (6) and assist, Filip Zadina, Danny Dekeyser, and Gustav Lindstrom each had two assists, while Luke Glendening (6) and Richard Panik (4) who got his first with Detroit also scored. Thomas Greiss made 43 saves in his third consecutive start. Detroit has five points in their last seven games. Each team had lineup changes for Detroit Evgeny Svechnikov replaced Dylan Larkin and for Dallas Miro Heiskanen, Mark Pysyk, and Roope Hintz replaced Sami Vatanen, Ty Dellandrea, and Rhett Gardner. Tanner Kero had two assists, while Radek Faksa (6), Joe Pavelski (20), and Dennis Gurianov (10) all scored for Dallas. Jason Robertson has a six game point streak (3G-6A-9P) and Roope Hintz has a eleven game point streak (3G-11A-14P). Anton Khudobin made 6 saves on 9 shots before being replaced by Jake Oettinger who made 10 saves in relief. Dallas’s eight game point streak ended. 



Colorado 4 St.Louis 2 Final

Colorado led by great scoring and backed by great play from Grubauer have made the playoffs for a fourth consecutive year. Nathan Mackinnon had three assists, Gabriel Landeskog had two assists, Andre Burakovsky scored twice (13 and 14), while Pierre Edward Bellemare (7) and Brandon Saad (15) also scored for Colorado. Nathan Mackinnon has a twelve game point streak (7G-14A-21P), Tyson Jost has a five game point streak (0G-5A-5P), and Cale Makar has a four game point streak (0G-5A-5P). Deven Dubnyk made 25 saves in his second consecutive start. Colorado is on a five game winning streak. Each team had lineup changes for Colorado Martin Kaut and Patrick Nemeth who made his Avalanche debut replaced Mikko Rantanen and Jacob Macdonald and for St.Louis Jordan Kyrou replaced Nathan Walker. Jayden Schwartz scored twice (5 and 6), while Tyler Bozak had two assists for St.Louis. Vince Dunn has a six game point streak (1G-7A-8P) and Tyler Bozak has a 5 game point streak (1G-6A-7P). Jordan Binnington made 25 saves in the loss. St.Louis has lost three straight games.



Ottawa 3 Vancouver 0 Final 

Ottawa pulls off the upset over Vancouver. Drake Batherson has a goal (16) and assist, while Tim Stutzlé (8) and Connor Brown (17) also scored for Ottawa. Matt Murray made 31 saves in his second shutout of the season. Vancouver had the only lineup change as Marc Michaelis replaced Antoine Roussel. Thatcher Demko made 22 saves in the loss.
