 Washington 2 New Jersey 1 Final/OT 

Washington regains top spot in the East with the victory. Dimitry Orlov (5) and John Carlson (10) each scored for Washington. Vitek Vanacek made 22 saves in his third consecutive start. Mike Smith made 24 saves in his fourth start in the last five games. Edmonton has a point in six of their last seven games. Each team had lineup changes for Calgary Mikael Backlund and Nikita Nesterov we’re replaced by Dillion Dube and Jusso Valimaki while Edmonton took out Kyle Turris, Tyler Ennis, and William Lagesson and we’re replaced by Dominic Kahun, Alex Chiasson, and Caleb Jones. Michael Stone (1) and Matthew Tkachuk (10) both scored for Calgary. Jacob Markstrom made 22 saves in his first start in a week. Calgary has lost six of their last seven games.

Colorado 3 St.Louis 2 Final

Colorado is now 1st and pushed St.Louis out of a playoff spot with the win. Nathan Mackinnon scored twice (11 and 12), Gabriel Landeskog has two assists, while Brandon Saad (11) also scored for Colorado. Nathan Mackinnon now has a four game point streak (2G-5A-7P). Jonas Johansson made 25 saves in his first win with the Avalanche. Colorado has a thirteen game point streak. Arizona is now in the last playoff spot with the victory. Each team had lineup changes for Arizona Lane Pederson and Jordan Gross replaced Dryden Hunt and Jason Demers and for Anaheim Alex Volkov who played with Anaheim for the first time since being traded and Trevor Zegras replaced Andy Welindki and Andrew Agozzino. Alex Volkov (4) who scored in his Ducks debut and Jacob Silfverberg (7) each scored for Anaheim. Anthony Stolarz made 27 saves in his second start of the year. Anaheim has lost five of their last seven games.
