 Montreal 4 Ottawa 1 Final 

Montreal kills Ottawa to extend their lead in the playoff race. Philip Danault (3) and Brendan Gallagher (14)  had a goal and assist, Thomas Tatar and Jake Evans each had two assists, while Corey Perry (7) and Paul Byron (3) also scored for Montreal. Thomas Tatar now has a five game point streak (2G-5A-7P). Jake Allen made 22 saves in his first start since Mar 19. Montreal now has a three game winning streak and five game point streak. Semyon Varlamov made 18 saves in his his fourth consecutive game. The Islanders have won four of their last six games. The only lineup change was for New York as Noah Dobson replaced Thomas Hickey. John Carlson scored twice (8 and 9), Daniel Sprong had a goal (7) and assist, while T.J.Oshie (10) also scored for Washington. T.J.Oshie (3G-3A-6P) and Niklas Backstrom (1G-3A-4P) each have four game point streaks.
