 NHL Trade Rumors and News

1 . St.Louis open to selling UFA’s

The Blues are possibly going to trade a pending UFA to gain assets back. Two names mentioned on insider trading were Mike Hoffman who’s contract is ($4 Million UFA) and has (9G-12A-21P) in 36 games played and Tyler Bozak who’s contract is ($5 Million UFA) and has (2G-2A-4P) in 14 games played. Mike Hoffman would draw the most interest but there could be another name out there who could draw more interest is Jayden Schwartz who’s contract ($5.35 Million UFA) and has (2G-9A-11P) in 23 games played. St.Louis traded Kevin Shattenkirk at the 2017 deadline being in a playoff spot and traded Paul Stastny in the 2018 trade deadline only being a point out and both were UFA’s.

2 . What Anaheim is looking for

The Ducks are cold in scoring and could benefit from trading a good player. Elliott Friedman said that the Ducks are looking for a 19-23 year old NHL Ready Player and that has been holding things up as those are hard to come by and on insider trading they said the asking Price for Josh Manson is a steep 1RD pick and top Prospect.

3 . All in Calgary is quiet

Both in the 31 thoughts and insider trading they said there is not much activity from the Flames right now. Insider trading said they are taking calls on pending UFA David Rittich and to a lesser extent UFA Derek Ryan.

4 . Hall trade close

Hall was scratched from today’s game and is possibly nearing a trade. Hall who’s contract ($8 Million UFA) and has (2G-17A-19P) in 37 games played could be of value to a contender like Boston or New York I and insider trading said Hall probably won’t last the week while Elliott Friedman said a trade is not imminent so keep an eye on this.

5 . Tampa Bay a fit for Savard

Just really quick here Elliott Friedman said this and I heard it elsewhere but the Tampa Bay Lightning might try to acquire David Savard if they can get the cap worked out and if the Jackets make him available.

A.J Greer                       Travis Zajac (50% Contract retain)

2022 Con 4RD

Condition: if the Islanders make the Stanley Cup Final the 4RD in 2022 will become a 3RD in 2022 or 2023 ( the Islanders get to differ)

Analysis: New York I got there man to replace Anders Lee in this blockbuster trade. The center piece of this deal is Kyle Palmeri who right now has (8G-9A-17P) in 34 games played and carries a ($2.35 Million New Jersey retains 50% UFA). Kyle Palmeri will fill the void filled by Anders Lee having a season ending injury. As for Travis Zajac has a (7G-11A-18P) in 33 games played and carries a ($2.875 Million New Jersey retains 50% UFA). Zajac will probably play in the top 9 and fill the spot being played by inexperienced rookies this year. New Jersey gets a 2021 1RD pick witch will most likely not be a lottery pick and then a fourth round pick next year or a third round pick next year or the year after. They also get young forward A.J Greer who had (1G-5A-6P) in 37 games played with Colorado from 16-18 but Hasn’t played in the NHL since the 18-19 season and carries a ($.700 Thousand RFA) and could be a depth forward for New Jersey. And Mason Jobst who has never played an NHL game was a Unsigned Free Agent and is a highly regarded prospect who carries a ($.793 Thousand UFA) and in time could be a middle six forward for New Jersey.
