NHL Rumors

NHL trade rumors

1 . Is The Nick Foligno trade to Toronto a Real Possibility

A couple of people reported that Toronto might want to get Nick Foligno as a boost to their forward core. Now the Leafs have reportedly been interested in another forward to boost but the fact that Columbus would be interested in moving there captain even if he is in the final year of his contract is silly. And as for the Maple Leafs there are probably better and cheaper options out there and that would not need such a high price.

2 . Jake Debrusk trade close

It sounds as though the Bruins are going to scratch Jake Debrusk for tonight’s game and it has spurred some speculation about a trade. Jake DeBrusk has not had very much production this year (1G-4A-5P) in 17 games. And any team looking for a top six forward would probably call Boston. Keep an eye on the situation.

3 . Ryan Getzlaf not going anywhere

The Ducks GM has told reporters that unless Getzlaf comes to him there will be no trade. Ryan Getzlaf has had a okay year (3G-8A-11P) in 24 games. Plus it would be hard to trade him with his over 8 million dollar contract.
