NHL Rumors
Lwos and Saturday headlines trade rumors
1 . Buffalo open for business
Last night on Saturday night headlines Elliott Friedman was saying that buffalo is listening to anything right now. Buffalo is on six game losing streak ( and as I am doing this buffalo is currently losing again) and their have been lots of talks this year with Buffalo doing so bad this year who they might sell at the deadline. Now pending Free Agents such as Brandon Mountour, Eric Stall, and Taylor Hall could be the first ones gone but a name mentioned last night Was Sam Reinhart. Reinhart would be one of the Sabres best trade chips is a RFA at the end of the year has a 5.2 Million Dollar cap hit and currently has 17 points in 20 games and look for teams trying to improve their top six to call on him.
2 . Jets need a blue liner
Per a athletic reporter the jets need blue line help. The Jets got Dubois from Columbus early in the year and their offense is clicking on all cylinders right now but need great goaltending to win. Getting a top four Defensemen would improve Winnipeg’s chance of making the cup final. Alex Goligoski, Brandon Montour, and Mattias Ekholmare all probably on the Jets radar as their are all playing top 4 minutes this season. Just keep an eye on the Jets defence.
3 . Columbus needs a center
As per another athletic reporter Columbus could use another center. After making the Dubois for Laine trade their center depth has been weakened with Jack Roslovic probably being the most productive center so far for Columbus. The reporter also states that Columbus could use a goalie to Acquire a center. Trading Elvis Merzlikins or Jonas Korpisalo for a center would make them a better team as a team because both goalies could be number one. Keep an eye on the Jackets goaltenders in the coming weeks.
