NHL Rumors
Lwos trade rumors
1 . Jake Debrusk Leaving.
First reported by an Athletic writer that Jake Debrusk recent slump could lead to Boston trading the young forward. Debrusk’s offensive production has not been there this year with him having (1G-4A-5P) in 16 games this year. Normally he plays white David Krejci but has moved between the second and third lines this year. It would be very risky due to the fact of their ageing core but lack of draft picks could prompt them to make this move. If he is on the trade block look for teams like Arizona, Anaheim and Dallas to call on his availability.
2 . Edmonton to add winger before deadline.
Edmonton could be looking to bolster their forward group prior to the deadline. Edmonton is once again in a playoff race and currently a playoff spot. Most of their offense has come from Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl but gotten some more help from depth players this year but could look to upgrade. Some names will float but maybe a guy like Calle Jarnkrok. He has (5G-2A-7P) in 17 games for Nashville and has been rumored to be one of the first Predators traded.
3 . Boston looking at P.K.
Boston still looking to bolster their defence and are probably looking for a top 4 d-man. They lost Torey Krug to free agency and were reportedly in to try and get Oliver-Ekman-Larsson but he was never traded. So now they are probably going to look to the trade market and P.K.Subban is a name they could look at. Subban has (1G-7A-8P) in 19 games this year and has been playing better than last year. Now he has a 9 Million contract and New Jersey would probably have to retain salary but something to keep an eye on.
