 Philadelphia 4 Buffalo 3 Final/OT

Buffalo gave up a three goal lead and ended up extending their losing streak. Ivan Provorov (5), Sean Couturier (10), Claude Giroux (9) each have a goal and assist, while Kevin Hayes (11) also scored for Philadelphia. Sean Couturier now has a four game point streak (4G-3A-7P). Brian Elliott made 29 saves and has played in four of the last five games. Philadelphia has now won back to back games. The only lineup change was for Buffalo as Tobias Reider, Tage Thompson, and Matt Irwin replaced Jean Sebastian Dea, Steven Fogarty, and Jaycob Bryson. Colorado blows out Anaheim to keep pace for top spot in the West. Came Makar had a three assist game, Valeri Nichushkin had a goal (8) and assist, Nathan Mackinnon had two assists, while J.T.Compher (4), Gabriel Landeskog (12), Tyson Jost (3), and Mikko Rantanen (20) also scored for Colorado. Philip Grubauer made 13 saves and got his eighth win in the last nine games. Colorado has a eleven game point streak (9-0-2). The only lineup change was for Anaheim as Nicolas Deslauriers, Andrew Agozzino, and Jamie Drysdale came in replacing Sam Steel, Rickard Rakell, and Jacob Larsson. San Jose got a huge two points in the victory over Minnesota. Erik Karlsson (3 and 4), Ryan Donato had two assists, Radim Simek also scored in regulation while Kevin Labanc, Logan Couture, and Erik Karlsson each scored in the shootout for San Jose. Martin Jones made 22 saves in his four of the last five games. San Jose has won three of their last five games. Each team had lineup changes for Minnesota Joseph Cramarossa was replaced by Luke Johnson and for San Jose Marcus Sorensen and Jeffery Viel who made his NHL debut replaced Annti Soumela and Kurtis Gabriel. Kevin Fiala (10) and Marcus Johansson (4) each had a goal and assist, while Nick Bonino (4) also scored for Minnesota. Cam Talbot made 36 saves in his fourth consecutive start. Minnesota had their three game winning streak end but now have a four game point streak.
