 Minnesota 4 Arizona 1 Final

Minnesota scores three in the 3rd period to beat Arizona again. Kevin Fiala (9) had a goal and assist, Zach Parise had two assists, while Victor Rask (6), Nick Bonino (3), and Joel Eriksson Ek (11) each scored for Minnesota. Cam Talbot made 21 saves in his second consecutive start. Minnesota is on a four game wining streak. Each team had lineup changes for Minnesota Luke Johnson went in for Marcus Foligno and for Arizona Ilya Lyubushkin, Drake Caggula, and Dryden Hunt went into the lineup for Niklas Hjalmarsson, John Hayden, and Michael Chaput. Phil Kessel (9) had the only goal for the Coyotes. Annti Raanta made 31 saves in his second start in three games.  Arizona is on a three game losing streak and have lost four of their last six games.

Carolina 2 Detroit 1 Final

The Canes win moves them to first in the Central. Dougie Hamilton (3) and Nino Niederreiter (12) each scored for Carolina. Dougie Hamilton has a eight game point streak (2G-8A-10P). Alex Nedeljkovic made 25 saves in his third start in the last five games. Carolina is on a eight game winning streak. Neither team had lineup changes. Anthony Mantha (8) scored the only goal for Detroit. Jonathan Bernier made 30 saves in his second consecutive start. Detroit had their two game point streak come to an end and now have lost five of their last six games. 

Carolina is 1st in the Central 20-6-1 record, 41 points, 12 points above the playoff line, 27 games played.

Detroit is 8th in the Central 8-17-4 record, 20 points, 13 points back of a playoff spot, 29 games played. 



Dallas 2 Columbus 1 Final/SO

Each team got three in the two game set after Dallas’s win. Joe Pavelski (14) was the lone regulation goal scorer for Dallas while Alex Radulov was the lone shootout goal scorer. Jake Oettinger made 29 saves has he started both back to back games. Dallas has a point in five of their last six games. The only lineup change was for Dallas in witch they put in Alex Radulov and Roope Hintz and took out Joel L’Esperance and Nick Caamano. Zach Wereinski had the lone goal for Columbus. Zach Wereinski has a four game point streak (2G-3A-5P). Jonas Korpisalo made 34 saves in his first start in the last three games. Columbus has lost four of their last five games but have a three game point streak.

Columbus is 5th in the Central 11-12-7 record, 29 points, 4 points back of a playoff spot, 30 games played.

Dallas is 6th in the Central 9-9-6 record, 24 points, 9 points back of a playoff spot, 24 games played.



New York I 3 New Jersey 2 Final

New York keeps rolling with yet another win. Brock Nelson (12) and Kiefer Bellows (3) each scored in regulation for the Islanders while Anthony Beauvillier and Oliver Wahlstrom scored in the shootout. Ilya Sorokin who has started three of the last five games made 29 saves in the win. The Islanders have a nine game winning streak and a twelve game point streak. Each teams had lineup changes for the Islanders Austin Czarnik, Leo Komarov, and Sebastian Aho came into the lineup for Michael Dal Colle, Jean Gabriel Pageau, and Noah Dobson and for New Jersey Nikita Gusev went in for Michael Mcleod. Janne Kuokkanen (5) and Yegor Sharangovich (5) each scored for New Jersey in regulation while Nikita Gusev got the Devils lone shootout goal. Janne Kuokkanen has a four game point and goal streak (4G-1A-5P). Scott Wedgewood made 32 saves in his third start since last week. The Devils are on a four game losing streak and have lost nine of their last ten games. 

New York I is 1st in the East 19-6-4 record, 42 points, 13 points above the playoff line, 29 games played.

New Jersey is 7th in the East 8-13-4 record, 20 points, 12 points back of a playoff spot, 25 games played. 



Colorado 4 Los Angeles 1 Final 

Colorado puts distance between them and Los Angeles with a win. Nazem Kadri (7) and Andre Burakovsky (6) each had a goal and assist, Dan Renouf had two assists and Nathan Mackinnon (7) and Jonas Donskoi (7) each scored for Colorado. Philipp Grubauer made 27 saves in his fourth consecutive start. Colorado is on a three game winning streak. The only lineup change was for Los Angeles in witch Alex Iafallo took out Dustin Brown. Kurtis Macdermid (2) was the lone Kings goal scorer. Cal Peterson made 37 saves in his third start in four games. Los Angeles has lost back to back games since a four game point streak. 

Colorado is 3rd in the West 16-8-2 record, 34 points, 6 points above the playoff line, 26 games played. 

Los Angeles is 5th in the West 11-10-6 record, 28 points, 5 points back of a playoff spot, 27 games played. 



Ottawa 4 Toronto 3 Final

Toronto’s fall continues with another loss. Drake Batherson scored two goals (10 and 11), Brady Tkachuk has a goal (11) and assist, and Ryan Dzingel (5) also scored for Ottawa. Joey Daccord made 33 saves in his third start in the last four games. The win ended the Senators three game losing streak. The only lineup change was for Ottawa as Colin White took out Josh Brown. Zach Hyman scored twice (9 and 10), John Tavares got a goal (9) and assist, and Morgan Rielly has two assists for Toronto. William Nylander (2G-2A-4P) and Mitch Marner (1G-4A-5P) each have four game point streaks for Toronto. Michael Hutchinson let in two goals on three shots before being pulled for Freddie Anderson who stoped 26 shots in relief. Toronto has now lost five of the last six games.

Toronto is 1st in the North 19-9-2 record, 40 points, 11 points above the playoff line, 30 games played. 

Ottawa is 7th in the North 10-20-1 record, 21 points, 10 points back of a playoff spot, 31 games played.
