Minnesota 4 Arizona 0 Final
Minnesota has there 2nd shutout in the last week with the victory over Arizona. Kirill Kaprizov got his first NHL hat trick (8,9 and 10), Mats Zuccarello had a three assist game and Jonas Brodin (5) also scored for Minnesota. Cam Talbot stopped all 25 shots in his first shutout of the season. The Wild now have a three game winning streak and have a point in four of their last five games. Each team had one lineup change for Arizona they put in John Hayden and took out Drake Caggula and for Minnesota they put in Ryan Hartman and took out Kyle Rau. Arizona was shutout for the third time this year. Clayton Keller has his six game point streak come to an end. Adin Hill made 28 saves in his second start of the season. Vegas keeps there top spot in the West thanks to a victory over St.Louis. Jonathan Marchessault (8), Thomas Nosek (2), Alec Martinez (2), and Reilly Smith (6) each had a goal and assist while Mark Stone (7) also scored for Vegas. Mark Stone extended his point streak to six games Played (3G-9A-12P). Marc Andre Fleury who has started 18 of Vegas’s 24 games made 19 saves. Vegas has now won seven of their last nine games. The Blues had the only lineup change as Oskar Sundqvist came in for Nathan Walker. Zach Sanford (8) and Vladimir Tarasenko (1) each had a goal and assist while Ryan O’Reilly (9) and David Perron (11) each scored for St.Louis. David Perron has a eight game point streak (5G-5A-10P), Brayden Schenn has a six game point streak (3G-5A-8P), and Ryan O’Reilly has a four game point streak (2G-5A-7P). Jordan Binnington who has started three of the last five games made 35 saves in the loss. St.Louis is on a three game losing streak but have a seven game point streak.

Connor McDavid got to 50 points in the victory over Ottawa. Connor McDavid has a goal (17) and two assists, Leon Draisaitl (15), Tyson Barrie (4), and Tyler Ennis (3) each had a goal and assist, and Darnell Nurse (8) and Gaetan Haas (2) each scored for Edmonton. Leon Draisaitl has a five game point streak (5G-5A-10P) and Connor McDavid has a four game point streak (3G-8A-11P). Mike Smith why has started back to back games made 23 saves in the win. Edmonton is currently on a four game winning streak. Each team had lineup changes for Ottawa Clark Bishop, Christian Wolanain, and John Brown came into the lineup for Artem Anisimov, Colin White, and Erik Brannstrom while Edmonton took out Kris Russell and put in Caleb Jones. Thomas Chabot (4) and Brady Tkachuk (10) each scored for Ottawa. Joey Daccord made 31 saves in his second start in three games. Ottawa has now lost five of their last six games.

Colorado 2 Los Angeles 0 Final
The Avalanche get their fourth shutout of the season with a huge win over LA. Mikko Rantanen (13) had a goal and assist while Nathan Mackinnon (6) also scored for Colorado. Philip Grubauer made 18 saves in his fourth shutout of the season. Colorado now has back to back wins and a point in five of their last six games. Los Angeles had the only lineup change as they took out Olli Maatta and Alex Iafallo and put in Tobias Bjornfot and Matt Luff. Los Angeles was shutout for the very first time this year. Anze Kopitar’s six game point streak was snapped in the game. Cal Peterson who has started two of the last three games made 44 saves in the loss. San Jose 6 Anaheim 0 Final
San Jose gets a shutout win over the Ducks today. Kevin Labanc had a goal (6) and two assists, Thomas Hertl (7) , Evander Kane (10), and Timo Meier (5) each had a goal and assist while Frederik Handemark (1) who got his first NHL goal and Erik Karlsson (2) also scored for San Jose. Deven Dubnyk got his first shutout of the season with a 34 save performance. San Jose has won back to back games since a three game losing streak. San Jose had the only lineup change as they put in Timo Meier, Thomas Hertl, and Frederik Handemark and took out Joel Kellmen, Rudolf Balcers, and Joachim Blichfeld. Anaheim got shutout for the first time this season. John Gibson stoped 19 of 24 shots before being pulled for Ryan Miller who stoped two of three shots he faced in relief. Anaheim has lost back to back games and eleven of their last thirteen games.
San Jose is 7th in the West 10-11-3 record, 23 points, 9 points back of a playoff spot, 24 games played.
