Flyers dealing Andrea?

 Andrea could be dealt soon by Philly?

In today’s blog we are looking at the Philadelphia Flyers as a recent article I saw said that Flyers defender Emil Andrea may be the odd man out and could be dealt at some point soon by Philly.

Now according to Anthony DeMarco on a recent article, he was talking about the Philadelphia Flyers and he thinks that Emil Andrea could very likely be moved in the very near future as he may be the odd man out in the Flyers organization on the blueline. Now, Andrea was a guy who was mostly a AHL player last year, but did get into a couple of games at the NHL level as a solid third pair defender, he didn’t have a whole bunch of points, but this year he was left off of the roster entirely, so this year they went with guys like Ginning, Juulsen, and Gilbert over him, even with guys like Ristolainen and York starting the season on injured reserve.

So, that says a lot about Andrea and it seems that he's sort of falling down the depth charts in the Philly Flyers organization. Now I think he was placed in the minors and he has been called up a few times this year but on a healthy roster would probably be 9-10 on the depth charts,  so at this point in time, it just doesn't seem like Philadelphia and Andrea are working out overly well, so DeMarco thinks there's a very likely chance that we could see the Philadelphia Flyers make a trade at some point in the very near future regarding Emil Andrea just giving him a fresh start. 

So we shall wait and see on that on Andrea, who I think at his ceiling could be a really solid third pair defenseman, but I think at this point he is more of like a 6 or 7 guy who can play third per minutes, but he could also be a healthy scratch at some points as well and I think there are teams out there who could use some defensive help who maybe have some injuries on the blue line who could definitely use a guy like Andrea. Like I wonder about Buffalo with all their injuries that they currently have right now, Winnipeg also comes to mind as a team who could use some added defensive help, Florida who just lost Kulikov could also use another potential 3rd pair D and some teams who have weaker blue lines would like Andrea as he's a younger type of guy too, so could teams like Chicago, San Jose or Pittsburgh who are trying to get younger and sort of improve on the blue line maybe try and add Andrea. 

I'm not exactly sure, but definitely keep your eye on the Philadelphia Flyers as Emil Andrea could very likely be moved in the very near future by the Philadelphia Flyers and the 3rd pair defenders time in Philly is coming to a end so very interesting to note there and let me know down in the comments if you feel Andrea will get moved in the near future and don’t forget to stay up to date on my YouTube channel as well.
