 Leafs to deal Robertson to Dallas.

In this blog post we are going over to a rumour from the Toronto Maple Leafs and Dallas Stars, now there's been some recent rumblings I've seen and I can't confirm this for sure but I've seen a couple of reports on Twitter saying that the Stars may be making a play for Nick Robertson soon, now we know that Nick Robertson's brother Jason Robertson is in Dallas so that might make sense as to why they would go after him.

We also know that they lost a little bit of bottom six help with guys like Dellandrea, Craig Smith and Radek Faksa moving on so they could definitely use a guy on a cheaper contract like Robertson who can definitely help them in their bottom six, we know Nick Robertson's also requested a trade earlier this offseason so it'll be interesting to see if they can work out a deal try and acquire Nick Robertson.

Now what the Leafs would want for him, I mean Robertson was a former second round pick so my guess would be something like a third round pick and a really good Prospect or maybe some sort of a NHL ready player back in return, not exactly sure who they could try and target from Dallas, but Dallas does have a really good Prospect pool so we will have to wait and see but it does sound like Dallas may eventually, maybe right now or in the not to distant in future make a play for Nick Robertson and try and acquire him to reunite him with his brother Jason in Dallas.

So that would be interesting and like I said it would be interesting to see Jason Robertson and Nick Robertson play on the same team and also the Stars could definitely use another bottom six forward so interesting stuff there but it does sound like Nick Robertson could be had for the right price and Dallas might be a team who has interest in him so we will have to wait and see on that and if any other teams could also make a play for Robertson.
