New Jersey got another win as they storm back multiple times from deficits to tie it late and win in overtime over a slumping Oilers team. Jack Hughes scored twice (7 and 8) and a assist, Dawson Mercer had a goal (9) and a assist, Dougie Hamilton, Daemon Severson, Andreas Johnsson and Jesper Bratt all has two assists, while Nico Hischier (4), Janne Kuokkanen (5) and Yegor Sharangovich (6) all also scored for the Devils. Mackenzie Blackwood made 32 saves on 37 shots in the win and has won back to back starts for only the second time this season. Nico Hischier (1G-3A-4P) now has a four game point streak. New Jersey was 1/2 on the power play, and also had 16 hits and 41 shots. Edmonton had the only lineup changes as Jesse Puljujarvi, Darnell Nurse and William Lagesson who were all activated off of the COVID list replaced Brendan Perlini, Kyle Turris and Dmitri Samorukov. In their first game since Pacioretty was back to being injured their depth pieces shine as they help Vegas to yet another win, this time over rivals Anaheim. Nicolas Roy (7), Adam Brooks (2) and Matias Janmark (4) were the three goal scorers for the Golden Knights. Laurent Brossoit made 15 saves on 16 shots in the win and has won three of his last four games as starter. Chandler Stephenson (1G-4A-5P) now has a four game point streak. Vegas was 0/6 on the power play, and also had 14 hits and 45 shots and have won ten of their last twelve games. Both teams had lineup changes for Vegas Nolan Patrick who was taken off of LTIR and Evgenii Dadonov and Alex Pietrangelo who were taken off the COVID list replaced Jake Leschyshyn, Max Pacioretty who had surgery and Nicolas Hague who is dealing with a undisclosed injury, while for Anaheim Sam Steel who was activated off of the COVID list replaced Cam Fowler who is dealing with a UBI. Ryan Getzlaf (2) was the lone goal scorer for the Ducks. John Gibson made 42 saves on 45 shots in the loss and has lost four consecutive games as starter. Anaheim was 1/1 on the power play, and also had 32 hits and 16 shots and had their four game point streak ended as well as now having a three game losing streak.

The Rangers gave up two one goal leads as the Lightning were able to force overtime but the Rangers got the game winner in the Shootout to hand Tampa yet another loss.
