Tampa Bay 5 Montreal 4 Final/OT

With Montreal having most of their regulars either injured or on the COVID list they gave Tampa quite a scary but a late goal followed by the OT winner helps lift the Bolts past the Canadiens in a rematch of last years Stanley cup Final. Brayden Point scored twice (8 and 9) and added a assist, Corey Perry had a goal (7) and a assist, Alex Killorn and Victor Hedman both had 2 assists, while Ross Colton (3) and Ondrej Palat (10) both also scored for the Lightning. Maxime Lagace made 27 saves on 31 shots in the win and his first NHL since May 8th earlier this year. Victor Hedman (2G-4A-6P) and Steven Stamkos (1G-3A-4P) both have four game point streaks. Tampa Bay was 0/4 on the power play, and also had 37 hits and 37 shots and are on a four game winning streak and have won nine of their last ten games. Kale Clague (1) and Rafael Harvey-Pinard (1) both hot their first career NHL goal (for Harvey-Pinard in his NHL debut), while David Savard (1) and Lukas Vejdemo (1) both also scored for the Canadiens. In a game where the two sides combined for 14 goals in regulation the Sharks blew a two goal lead but got the shootout winner as they recovered to beat the Coyotes. Logan Couture (10), Timo Meier (13) and Alex Barabanov (4) all had a goal and a assist, Nick Bonino (5), Radim Simek (1), Jeffery Viel who got his first career NHL goal and Tomas Hertl (15)  all also scored in regulation, while Logan Couture and Tomas Hertl both scored in the shootout for the Sharks. James Reimer made 39 saves on 46 shots in the win and has won six of his last eight games at starter. Tomas Hertl (7G-3A-10P) extended his point streak to seven games. San Jose was 0/3 on the power play, and also had 21 hits and 27 shots. Lawson Crouse scored twice (7 and 8) and added 2 assists for a four point night, Phil Kessel had 4 assists also having a four point night, Johan Larsson had 3 assists, Janis Moser had his first NHL goal and added another (1 and 2), Shayne Gostisbehere had a goal (5) and a assist, while Andrew Ladd (5) and Clayton Keller (10) both also scored in regulation for the Coyotes. Vegas had took a 2-1 lead and then scored three unanswered to take a 5-1 lead and never looked back as the Kings fall to the Golden Knights in their first game back. Jonathan Marchessault scored twice (15 and 16) and added a assist, Reilly Smith (11) and Chandler Stephenson (10) both had a goal and a assist, while Keegan Kolesar (2) and Mattias Janmark (3) both also scored for the Golden Knights. Laurent Brossoit made 24 saves on 27 shots in the win and has won five of his last seven starts. Vegas was 2/4 on the power play, and also had 18 hits and 27 shots and have won nine of their last eleven games. Adrian Kempe has a goal (13) and a assist, while Trevor Moore (3) and Alex Iafallo (10) both also scored for the Kings. Jonathan Quick let in 5 goals on 15 shots before being replaced by Garrett Sparks who made 11 saves on 12 shots in the loss and in relief.
