 Pittsburgh 8 Buffalo 4 Final 

Pittsburgh regains top spot in the east while Buffalo locks up the best odds to get the top spot in the draft with the loss. Jeff Carter has a Hat Trick and a additional goal (13,14,15 and 16), Jarred McCann had a goal (14) and two assists, Fredric Gaudreau had three assists, Sidney Crosby (24) and Kasperi Kapanen (11) each had a goal and a assist, Kris Letang and Jason Zucker each had two assists, while Brian Dumoulin (4) also scored for the Penguins. Kris Letang has a four game point streak (0G-5A-5P). Tristan Jarry made 19 saves in his seventh consecutive start. Pittsburgh has won four of their last five games. New Jersey 2 New York I Final

New Jersey continues to win while the Islanders are almost a lock for the 4th spot in the East. Michael McLeod (9) and Pavel Zacha (16) both scored for the Devils. Mackenzie Blackwood made 32 saves in his seventh start in the last eight games. New Jersey has won five of their last six games. Each team had lineup changes for Nww Jersey Tyce Thompson and Nolan Foote replaced Miles Wood and Nick Merkley and for New York I Matthew Barzal, Matt Martin, and Brayden Coburn replaced Michael Dal Colle, Jordan Eberle, and Andy Greene. Anthony Beauvillier (15) was the lone goal scorer for the Islanders. Josh Bailey’s four game point streak ended but Anthony Beauvillier extended his point streak to five games (5G-1A-6P). Semyon Varlamov made 23 saves in his fourth start in the last five games. New York I is on a three game losing streak.

Boston keeps pace with Pittsburgh for top spot in the East. Chicago has s late comeback to defeat the Hurricanes. Riley Stillman (1) and Alex Debrincat (29) each scored for the Blackhawks. Alex Debrincat has a six game point streak (6G-2A-8P). Colin Delia made 36 saves in his second consecutive start. Chicago ended a eight game losing streak. The only lineup change was for Chicago as Brett Connolly and Alec Regula who made his NHL debut replaced Dylan Strome and Ian Mitchell. Martin Necas (14) was the lone goal scorer for the Hurricanes. Sebastian Aho’s nine game point streak and Andrei Svechnikov’s five game point streak ended. Petr Mrazek made 25 saves in his second consecutive start. Carolina now has a thirteen game point streak.

Toronto 5 Montreal 2 Final 

Toronto nears a clinch of top spot in the North with the win. Mitch Marner (19) and John Tavares (18) each had a goal and assist, Jake Muzzin had two assists, while Alex Galchenyuk (5), Pierre Engvall (5) and Auston Matthews (40) each scored for the Maple Leafs. Joe Thornton (2G-5A-7P) seven games, William Nylander (2G-4A-6P) six games, Auston Matthews (6G-0A-6P) five games, and Alex Galchenyuk (2G-2A-4P) four games each have point streaks. Jack Campbell made 19 saves in his third consecutive start. Toronto has a seven game point streak. Each team had lineup changes for Toronto Stefan Noesen who made his Maple Leafs debut, Pierre Engvall, and Justin Holl replaced Adam Brooks, Nick Foligno, and Timothy Liljegren and for Montreal Tomas Tatar replaced Michael Frolik. Cole Caufield (3) and Autturi Lehkonen (6) both scored for the Canadiens. Nick Suzuki’s seven game point streak ended but Tyler Toffoli has a five game winning streak (3G-4A-7P). Cayden Primeau let in 4 goals on 15 shots before being replaced by Jake Allen who made 19 saves in relief. Montreal has lost back to back games.

Vancouver 6 Edmonton 3 Final 

Vancouver staves off elimination as they double up on the Oilers. Nils Hoglander (10), Travis Hamonic (1), Jayce Hawryluk (2), and Brock Boeser (20) each had a goal and assist, while Tyler Groavac (1) and Jack Rathbone (1) who scored his first NHL goal also scored for the Canucks. Thatcher Demko made 39 saves in his third start in the last four games. Vancouver ended a six game losing streak. The only lineup change was for Edmonton as Patrick Russell, James Neal, Ethan Bear, and Caleb Jones replaced Tyler Ennis, Kyle Turris, William Lagesson, and Evan Bouchard. Connor McDavid had three assists, Leon Draisaitl scored twice (27 and 28), while Jesse Puljujarvi (14) also scored for the Oilers. Leon Draisaitl (4G-6A-10P), Connor McDavid (3G-9A-12P), and Tyson Barrie (1G-3A-4P) all have four game point streaks. Mikko Koskinen let in all four shots he faced and was replaced by Mike Smith who made 21 saves in relief. Edmonton’s three game winning streak ended.
