 Pittsburgh 4 New Jersey 2 Final 

Pittsburgh gets a big win by sending New Jersey to another loss. Jake Guentzel had two assists, while Jeff Carter (10), Jared McCann (13), Brian Rust (20), and Sidney Crosby (20) all scored for Pittsburgh. Teddy Blueger’s four game point streak ended but Cody Ceci has a four game point streak (1G-4A-5P). Casey DeSmith made 34 saves in the win. Pittsburgh is on a three game winning streak. The only lineup change was for New Jersey as Marian Studenic and Colton White replaced Janne Kuokkanen And Jonas Siegenthaler. Jack Hughes (11) and Miles Wood (15) each scored for New Jersey. Mackenzie Blackwood made 33 saves in his first start in just under a week. New Jersey is on a nine game losing streak.

St.Louis 5 Colorado 3 Final

St.Louis gets a big win against Colorado that moves them into a playoff spot. Ryan O,Reilly had a Hat Trick (18,19 and 20) and a assist, Torey Krug and Brayden Schenn each had two assists, while Ivan Barbashev (4) and Mike Hoffman (14)  also scored for St.Louis. Vince Dunn had his six game point streak end but Tyler Bozak extended his point streak to six games (1G-7A-8P). Jordan Binnington made 28 saves in his fourth consecutive start. St.Louis ended their three game losing streak. The only lineup change was for St.Louis as Robert Bortuzzo and Robert Thomas replaced Zach Sanford and Kyle Clifford. Cale Makar (5) and Nathan Mackinnon (18) each had a goal and two assists, Andre Burakovsky had two assists, while Gabriel Landeskog also scored (17) for Colorado. Tyson Jost has his five game point streak end but Cale Makar has a five game point streak (1G-7A-8P) and Nathan Mackinnon has a thirteen game point streak (8G-16A-24P). Deven Dubnyk made 25 saves in his third consecutive start. Colorado had their five game winning streak end.

Dallas 2 Detroit 1 Final/OT

Dallas gets a much needed two points in their comeback win against Detroit. Jamie Benn (10) and Mark Pysyk (2) each scored for Dallas. Roope Hintz has his eleven game point streak end but Jason Roberson extended his point streak to seven games (3G-7A-10P). Anton Khudobin made 16 saves in his third start in the last four games. Dallas has won five of their last six games. The only lineup change was for Dallas as Sami Vatanen replaced John Klingberg. Dennis Cholowski (1) was the lone goal scorer for Detroit. Jonathan Bernier made 50 saves in his fourth start in the last seven games. Detroit has lost four of their last five games.

Washington 6 New York I 3 Final 

Washington regains top spot with a big win over the Islanders. Evgeny Kuznetsov had a goal (9) and two assists, Daniel Sprong had two goals (8 and 9), Brendan Dillion had two assists, while Garnet Hathaway (5), T.J Oshie (17), Nic Dowd (9) also scored for Washington. Ilya Samsonov made 21 saves in his third start in the last four games. Washington has won six of their last eight games. Each team had one lineup change for Washington Daniel Sprong replaced Alex Ovechkin and for New York I Travis Zajac replaced Leo Komarov. Anthony Beauvillier (10), Adam Pelech (3), and Jean Gabriel Pageau (14) each scored for New York I. Ilya Sorokin made 24 saves in his third start in the last five games. Florida comes back from 3-1 down to beat Carolina in overtime. Mackenzie Weegar had a goal (4) and three assists, Jonathan Huberdeau had two assists, while Gustav Forsling (4), Alex Wennberg (12), and Alex Barkov (22) also scored for Florida. Jonathan Huberdeau has a seven game point streak (3G-7A-10P) but Patrick Hornqvist’s four game point streak ended. Chris Driedger made 16 saves in his first start in just over a week. Florida has won five of their last seven games. The only lineup change was for Carolina as Drew Shore and Max McCormick replaced Jordan Martinook and Jesper Fast. Dougie Hamilton scores twice (7 and 8), Sebastian Aho had two assists, while Brett Pesce (4) also scored for Carolina. Alex Nedeljkovic made 32 saves in his fourth start in the last five games. Carolina has a six game point streak.

Calgary 5 Montreal 2 Final

Calgary is now just 4 points back of Montreal for the last playoff spot in the North. Johnny Gaudreau had two goals (16 and 17), Derek Ryan had two assists, while Milan Lucic (9), Brett Ritchie (3), and Rasmus Andersson (4) also scored for Calgary. Elias Lindholm had his seven game point streak end but Johnny Gaudreau has a four game point streak (2G-3A-5P). Jacob Markstrom made 30 saves in his seventh consecutive start. Calgary has won back to back games. Each team had one lineup change for Montreal Jake Evans replaced Paul Byron and for Calgary Buddy Robinson replaced Nikita Nesterov. Because of Kaprizov and Zuccarello’s production the play from their Defenceman and the great goaltending from Cam Talbot the Wild are now in the Playoffs. Jared Spurgeon (6), Kevin Fiala (17), and Nick Bonino (7) all had a goal and assist, while Kirill Kaprizov (22), Marcus Foligno (9), and Ryan Suter (2) also scored for Minnesota. Kevin Fiala has a four game point streak (3G-3A-6P), while Kirill Kaprizov (6G-0A-0P) and Joel Eriksson Ek (2G-3A-5P) each have a five game point streak. Kappo Kahkonen made 27 saves in his first start in a week. Minnesota has a seven game winning streak. The only lineup change was for San Jose as Joachim Blichfeld and Greg Pateryn who made his Sharks debut replaced Joel Kellman and Radek Simek. Logan Couture (15), Evander Kane (18), Joachim Blichfeld (1) who scored his first NHL goal all scored for San Jose. Martin Jones made 5 saves on 8 shots and was replaced by Josef Korenar who made 15 saves in relief. San Jose is on a seven game losing streak.

Vegas becomes the first team to get to 70 points in their win over Anaheim.  Chandler Stephenson has two goals (11 and 12) and a assist, Shea Theodore had a goal (7) and a assist, Alex Pietrangelo had two assists, while William Karlsson (12), Will Carrier (5) also scored for Vegas. Max Pacioretty has a seven game point streak (3G-8A-11P) and Shea Theodore has a four game point streak (1G-6A-7P) while Mark Stone had his six game point streak end. Robin Lehner made 23 saves in his third start in the last five games. Vegas is on a nine game winning streak. The only lineup change was for Anaheim as David Backes and Johan Larsson replaced Jacob Silfverberg and Josh Manson. Sam Steel (5) was the lone goal scorer for Anaheim. John Gibson made 26 saves in his third start in the last four games. Anaheim is on a four game losing streak.

Arizona got a much needed two points against Los Angeles. Phil Kessel had a goal (17) and assist, Alex Goligoski had two assists, while John Hayden (1), Jacob Chychrun (14), and Lawson Crouse (4) also scored for Arizona. Darcy Kuemper made 26 saves in his second shutout of the season. Arizona has won two times in their last four games. Neither team had any lineup changes. Los Angeles was shutout for the fourth time this year. Cal Peterson made 36 saves in his third consecutive start. Los Angeles has lost four of their last five games.

Vancouver 4 Ottawa 2 Final 

Vancouver gains on the last playoff spot with a crucial win. J.T Miller had a goal (10) and assist, Bo Horvat had two assists, while Tanner Pearson (9), Brock Boeser (17), and Nate Schmidt (4) also scored for Vancouver. Brayden Holtby made 26 saves in his third start in the last four games. Vancouver has won three of their last four games. The only lineup change was for Vancouver as Tyler Motte, Zach Macewen, and Alex Edler replaced Marc Michaelis, Jimmy Vesey, and Jalen Chatfield. Evgenii Dadonov had a goal (13) and assist, while Colin White (9) also scored for Ottawa. Matt Murray made 12 saves before being replaced by Marcus Hogberg because of injury and Hogberg made 18 saves in relief. Ottawa’s three game winning streak ended.
