 Ottawa 2 Calgary 1 Final

Ottawa wins the first of a two game set with Calgary. Mike Rielly had two assists, while Ryan Dzingel (7) and Chris Tierney (4) each scored for Ottawa. Filip Gustavsson made 35 saves in his first NHL game and first NHL start ever. Ottawa now has a four game point streak. Each team had one lineup change for Ottawa John Brown replaced Erik Gudbranson and Brett Ritchie was replaced by Zach Rinaldo. Johnny Gaudreau (13) scored the lone goal for the Flames. Jacob Markstrom made 21 saves in his eighth start in nine games. Calgary has lost three of their last four games.

New York I 2 Philadelphia 1 Final/OT

Ilya Sorokin now has a personal eight game winning streak with the victory over Philadelphia. New York R 5 Buffalo 3 Final 

New York R keeps on gaining on Boston with another win.  Adam Fox has a goal (3) and two assists, Artemi Panarin had three assists, Chris Kreider (15 and 16) and Kappo Kakko (3 and 4) each scored twice, while Ryan Strome has two assists for the Rangers. Ryan Strome has a six game point streak (1G-7A-8P) and Adam Fox has a four game point streak (1G-5A-6P). Keith Kinkaid made 16 saves in his second consecutive start. New York R has won four of their last six games. Each team had lineup changes for New York R Brett Howden was replaced by Julien Gauthier while for Buffalo Tobias Reider, Kyle Okposo, and Matt Irwin came out for Dylan Cozens, Rasmus Asplund, and Henri Jokiharju. Rasmus Asplund (2), Dylan Cozens (4), and Jeff Skinner (3) each scored for Buffalo. Carter Hutton stoped both shots he faced before being injured as Dustin Tokarski replaced him making 33 saves in relief. Buffalo has currently lost fourteen consecutive games.

Carolina 3 Columbus 0 Final

Carolina Keeps ahead of the playoff line with the victory over Columbus. Jesper Fast had a goal (4) and assist, Sebastian Aho had two assists, and Brady Skjei (1) and Martin Necas (6) each scored for Carolina. Dougie Hamilton has got a twelve game point streak (2G-12A-14P). Alex Nedeljkovic Made 19 saves for his second shutout this year. Carolina now has a three game point streak. Neither team had any lineup changes. Columbus was shutout for the third time this year. Jonas Korpisalo who has started three of the last four games made 25 saves in the loss. The loss ends the Blue Jackets 5 game point streak.

Minnesota 2 Anaheim 1 Final

The Ducks lose again as they fall to Minnesota. Ryan Suter (1) and Nick Bjugstad (5) each scored for Minnesota. Cam Talbot made 24 saves in his fourth start in the last six games. Minnesota has won six of their last eight games. Each team had lineup changes for Minnesota Marcus Johansson replaced Joseph Cramarossa and for Anaheim Sam Steel and Josh Manson replaced Max Comtois and Danton Heinen. Troy Terry (6) scored the lone goal for Anaheim. Troy Terry has a four game point streak (2G-3A-5P). Ryan Miller made 21 saves in his fifth consecutive start. Anaheim has lost six of their last seven games.

Winnipeg 4 Vancouver 0 Final 

Winnipeg keeps climbing the standings in beating Vancouver. Adam Lowry scored twice (6 and 7), while Blake Wheeler (9) and Paul Stastny (10) each scored for Winnipeg. Connor Hellebuyck made 22 saves in his first shutout of the year. Winnipeg has only won twice in the last five games. The only lineup change was for Vancouver where Tyler Graovac replaced Brandon Sutter. Vancouver was shutout for the fourth time this year. Thatcher Demko made 25 saves in his eighth start in the last nine games. Vancouver has lost back to back games since a four game winning streak.

Winnipeg is 3rd in the North 19-11-2 record. 40 points, 5 points above the playoff line, 32 games played.

Vegas 5 St.Louis 1 Final 

Vegas gains distance from St.Louis by beating them. Mark Stone had two goals (11 and 12) and a assist, William Karlsson (8) has a goal and two assists, Jonathan Marchessault had a goal (9) and assist, while Keegan Kolesar scored his first NHL goal (1) for Vegas. Thomas Nosek has a four game point streak (1G-4A-5P). Robin Lehner made 15 saves in his second start in the last three games. Vegas has won six of their last seven games. Each team had lineup changes for Vegas Patrick Brown and Nick Holden replaced Cody Glass and Dylan Coghlan and for St.Louis Zach Sanford and Robert Thomas replaced Sammy Blais and Nathan Walker. Vince Dunn was the lone goal scorer for St.Louis. Jordan Binnington made 30 saves in his third start in the last four games. St.Louis has lost six of their last eight games.

Colorado 5 Arizona 1 Final

Colorado keeps pace with Vegas for top spot in the West. Jonas Donskoi scored twice (9 and 10), Valeri Nichushkin and Tyson Jost each have two assists, while Pierre Edward Bellemare (3), Mikko Rantanen (18), and Nazem Kadri (10) each scored for Colorado. Mikko Rantanen (5G-6A-11P) and Nathan Mackinnon (4G-6A-10P) each have a six game point streak and Gabriel Landeskog (2G-7A-9P) and Jonas Donskoi (4G-4A-8P) each have a five game point streak. Philip Grubauer made 24 saves in his 25th start of the season. Colorado currently has a seven game winning streak. Neither team had any lineup changes. Oliver Ekman-Larsson got his first (1) goal of the season for Arizona. Annti Raanta made 30 saves in his second consecutive game. Arizona has lost six of their last seven games.

San Jose won this battle of California with beating Los Angeles. Logan Couture (14) and Ryan Donato (5) each scored for San Jose. Martin Jones made 41 saves in his third start in the last seven games. San Jose ended their four game losing streak with the win. Each team had lineup changes for San Jose Annti Soumela and Frederik Handemark we’re replaced by Kurtis Gabriel and Rudolf Balcers as for Los Angeles Olli Maatta was replaced by Tobias Bjornfot. Matt Roy scored his first (1) goal of the season for Los Angeles. Jonathan Quick made 21 saves in his second game since returning from injury. Los Angeles has lost two of their last three games.
